The Turkish Saraya is a restaurant characterized by oriental cuisine. The restaurant is very old and considered one of the first Turkish restaurants in Riyadh. It is still managed by the same family for more than thirty years.
Nice place, nice food and served very hot. A little bit slow service. The place is kind of noisy so not the best if youâre looking for a quiet meal.

A meal for a colleague who's permanently leaving the Kingdom, and research said this was a good restaurant. We were both disappointed, he more than me even though I have more expectations....My meal I'll describe. Starter, mussels with rice and pine nuts. In itself nice, but actually a bit bland and covered in an oil that gave an unpleasant (oily) texture without adding flavour. No sign of the pine nuts. The main was the sea bass. This had more flavour but nothing special. It tasted like a fish in tomato sauce. The cherry element was completely lacking in the dish, and seems to have only been the element of decoration on the side of the bowl! Nothing bad, but nothing special or different. Dessert - nothing was appetising so we didn't have any. Drinks disappointingly limited to a single mixed fruit juice, canned drinks, water or non alcoholic wine. In a 5* hotel.... Getting there. Finding the car park was ok, but there were no signs for the entrance. Once on the correct floor there were no directions. Unacceptable. Service - professional. Expensive.
