A meal for a colleague who's permanently leaving the Kingdom, and research said this was a good restaurant. We were both disappointed, he more than me even though I have more expectations....My meal I'll describe. Starter, mussels with rice and pine nuts. In itself nice, but actually a bit bland and covered in an oil that gave an unpleasant (oily) texture without adding flavour. No sign of the pine nuts. The main was the sea bass. This had more flavour but nothing special. It tasted like a fish in tomato sauce. The cherry element was completely lacking in the dish, and seems to have only been the element of decoration on the side of the bowl! Nothing bad, but nothing special or different. Dessert - nothing was appetising so we didn't have any. Drinks disappointingly limited to a single mixed fruit juice, canned drinks, water or non alcoholic wine. In a 5* hotel.... Getting there. Finding the car park was ok, but there were no signs for the entrance. Once on the correct floor there were no directions. Unacceptable. Service - professional. Expensive.

Restaurant with good food. The room is also nice. Only problem is that the service is slow. We've waited too much for the main order and desert.

Lebanese restaurant since 1960
No surprise with the excellent food and service again at this beautiful restaurant. The must try is the whole boneless barbecued/ grilled chicken , and the lamb kebabs. Never have been disappointed taking friends and family here. The staff is so professional and so is the service. Must try!

Cafe Bateel is popular for their dates, they perfected dates farming. The best quality dates are produced by Bateel. Pricey but worth it. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Ryan and his colleagues are the best. Very knowledgeable about the different types of dates. Hands down you will not be disappointed with the quality of service.

This is a traditional Saudi Arabian restaurant where EVERYTHING is traditional, from the food, decor (think 1950's Riyadh) & dinning style (on the floor). It does not seem to have a website, which is why I think I haven't seen any foreigners there. This i
Visited the place with family. they have a nice traditional saudi menu of maghbous etc. They also have a full meal platter for three to four persons. meat and chicken are nicely cooked. Service is good and the ambience is traditional where people have to sit on the floor . Give it a try.
