Went there for buffet sushi lunch. Normally I fear the worst when it comes to Buffet but have to admit that the offer was simply perfect. Had a bit at all the offerings including the dessert. The matcha macaroon and lemon tart were also really good. If the Tempuras range was larger than Eggplant and Prawn; it would be even better. One regret- I missed the miso soup because too full up. Highly recommend this place for the setup and quality of offer. Very good Quality: Price Ratio.

Currently staying at sugar beach hotel and have had the pleasure of dining here on two occasions. The food was excellent and well presented . The staff and service were faultless professional .....but still were able to share a sense of humour. A must try , we will be trying to rebook for our 3rd visit of our stay !! Well done to al of the staff a credit to the restaurant .

I had researched this restaurant before arriving in Mauritius, it was also recommended by a local business man who we rented an appartment from. Two minutes from our apartment and we were there, it doesnt open until 6pm but does offer breakfast from a window. The service in here was fast and efficient, we had food in front of us within 8 minutes fro ordering the fresh whole fish is a must worth waiting 20 minutes for, curries all bursting with flavour with a good selection of drinks. The breads were made fresh and the food tasted amazing. If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Flic en Flac and want to try awesome tasty food this is the place. Their coffee was also very niceShould be No1 on trip as it was in my opinion the best food in flic en flacHiThank you very much for your review.We know that you appreciate our food and service with the food and you are the most welcome at or place.Continue to inform your friends to visit us.On our side we will continue to upgrade our service to satisfy our customerThanksFarhaan

On the way back from the beach walked passed Le Marmite Mauricienne.Decided to book a table for later on that evening. This place had been recommended to us by some friends, so we were keen to sample the menu. We were greeted by very friendly staff. From the outside the place is not posh or ostentatious, it looks and feels very authentic, no airs and graces here-which is kind of what we want on holiday. The menu was very extensive, so much so that the waiter offered us advice. There is a European option which looked and sounded great but it was the real Mauritian cuisine that we were after. We were not disappointed. Portions were huge and tasted great. I'm not one for hot food, my husband is and he was given extra piment hot sauce with his dish.Our daughter was more than content with her chicken burger, fries and salad.My fruit de mer with fried rice was amazing and very filling.We did have to walk the dinner off as we were all so full and had to take a doggy bag. Were also given extra hot sauce to take home. All in all a very pleasant place. Average, too quiet, and mossy not good - bitten to death !Wasn't as 'glamorous' as some of the photos on here alude and was very quiet.The garden was bit too dark.... as for the mosquitos !!!

Today I visited pakbo restaurant for dinner and order many tasty food. crispy fried calamari is best starters I had today.For main course I order tandoori chicken with rice taste of yummy with indian flavour.Later i order lava cake which is must try dessert.I recommend everyone who visit Filc en FLAC if they are looking for good restaurants indian, veg, non-veg, Chinese and sea food can try Pakbo Restaurant for dinner lunch ot breakfast.Car parking is also available.
