We booked here because of numerous good reviews. We left after 2 nights and that was one night earlier than our initial booking. There are some good features to the hotel. It is centrally located in Salulita and a very good restaurant (La Rustica) is only a .2 mile walk away. The beach is even closer. The room came with a good kitchen area and deck, and was clean, except for an influx of very small ants on the bathroom counter, which just kept coming. The big bed was very comfortable. The young front desk agent was very friendly, but did struggle somewhat with English and he was the only one there who could speak it at all (fortunately we discovered a great little breakfast/lunch spot across the street 250 feet away called “Sand & Wishes” (a play on “sandwiches”) owned and operated by a lovely young Canadian lady). The less good but ok bits of the hotel included that if you wanted to change the air conditioner temp, you had to run downstairs and get the desk clerk to do it, the Wifi was only moderately reliable, and if you wanted sun by the pool, you would have to drag one of their deck chairs away from a wall which provided only shade and then around a very poorly designed pool area with a twisty pathway right over to the other side of the pool where there was not much room to even put the deckchair. Now the terrible part of the stay (and why this review is a 2 and not a 3) relates to the street the hotel is on. It is very very noisy and you could not get a good night’s sleep. The barking packs of dogs, the noise from the assembled groups of people (wherever they exactly were), screeching cats, cars arriving, slamming doors and vehicles later roaring off went on until they finally left at 4:30 am. And we were here 2 nights, so this was not just a one-off occurrence. Then after 4:30, all we got was a couple of barking dogs off and on until 5:50 am when the firecrackers started. Now in Mexico there are apparently numerous celebrations for various saints. Same thing happened to us about 10 days ago at Lake Chapala. Fireworks get set off at 6 am to wake everyone up to get to early Mass. Well after 2 nights like we had here, you can imagine how we viewed the firecracker invitation. So while the street noise was not the hotel’s fault, it all happens right outside their door. For us, we would not come back to Los Encantos.

My friend Valentina want a couple of days away, and we found this hotel through Virgin Vacations group. The hotel was very clean and provided every thing she needed. Wonderful pool. The staff were amazing, she even got invited to grandpa's birthday party. There is a very good coffee bar at the front. I can recommend this place for a wonderful stay. Thank you for looking after Valentina.

All the staff were very nice and accommodating. They had a safe at the checkin counter you could use for your computer, jewelry, cash, passport. They were happy to have you use it whenever you wanted. The room had a great view. The balcony overlooked the beach. It was as if you were beachfront, though we were one street back. It was very convenient to restaurants and a laudomat. There was also a nice bar with live music, Jax bar, around the corner. We went there most nights. The hotel was remarkably quiet, in spite of being around the corner from the bar. You could hear the waves crashing at night, which was nice. There was breakfast included, though it got repetitive. Eggs over easy, toast, a little fruit, and frijoles, and chilaquiles. The chilaquiles were always soggy, not crisp. Didn’t care for the frijoles. Consider getting a room without the breakfast plan if you want more breakfast variety. 6th floor had rooftop hot tub and a small pool. The hot tub was nice except on weekends when very young mexican children would take it over(although there is a posted notice that young children should not use the hot tub as their pool. The pool was too small and too cold for me to enjoy in early May. The daily maid service did a good job. There was a small fridge, microwave and a stove top, but we didn't cook. We did reheat some leftover restaurant meals in the microwave. The only downside was the beds were hard. I would give it 5 stars, if not for the uncomfortable beds. We had a room with 2 queen beds, though I would not classify them as queens. They were much smaller. We did see a room with a king size bed which looked like it had a mattress topper. That might be a better choice.

Indulge in the beauty of B Nayar. It is an exclusive resort where luxury meets privacy and combines it with exquisite ocean views. Located in the magnificent Riviera Nayarit, it has become one of the most visited destinations by foreigners and Mexicans in our country. Memorable views and wide open spaces, designed especially for you to enjoy all the comfort you deserve, will make of B Nayar the place where you want to be.
We stayed in a three bedroom penthouse apartment recently. The resort is large and spacious, there’s a shuttle bus to and from the reception area, takes about 4 minutes but you can walk down to the beach club area. There are beach towels available from the beach club reception. The pools there are lovely and warm and the beach is adjacent and is clean and shelves gently into the warm sea. The main negative is the dreadful loud incessant awful music that the DJ blasts out constantly The beach club serves a nice breakfast and once that is complete the staff then come to your sun bed to take your orders for drinks and snacks. The lunch menu and food is much better than the supper menu. All the staff expect a tip when serving you either in the restaurant or by the pool. There’s another pool nearer the reception area and this is similar in size to the beach club ones but far quieter but no service from the bar The main restaurant is near the main reception area and there’s also another smaller pool there as well The menu is varied and the food on the whole is acceptable. You have to scan the QR codes to see what’s on offer. The main complaint is the total lack of any ordering system. Some days we gave our order and waited up to an hour even for a drink never mind your food order, staff seemed to be busy but doing what we weren’t sure. Another oddity is if you order your starter and main course at same time they are brought out together. I think because we were the only English speaking guests there and very few staff speak English we did find ordering the food difficult The apartment was large with a huge kitchen and dining area however there wasn’t even a spoon never mind a plate!! When the apartment was serviced and used towels taken away I had to keep going to reception to ask for clean ones There wasn’t a safe and unfortunately my wife had two rings taken from our wardrobe It would be nice for the children if there were slides into the pools and also ice cream as at other all inclusive resorts the latter was always available Just a word of advice is don’t lose your immigration form like I did, caused me issues at airport on departure Enjoy the holidays

The hotel suites where a perfect starting point to explore the area, but still a welcomed retreat to go back every day to enjoy the pool by the ocean and relax in the company of good friends, the suites are big and clean, ours was a two bedroom apartment with a well equipped kitchen, three complete bathrooms, huge balcony, A/C in every room, four floor with commanding views of the whole Bay. The only missing feature is a bar/restaurant in the premises, although there are plenty of options at walking distance.

Stayed at a friends condo in August 2019. Staff were very pleasant, place was spotless, staff work endlessly on keeping the place looking good. Pool, ocean, long walks on beach followed up by happy hour at Karens place. Will for sure be back.

Mar y Suenos has 7 units. 5 studio apartments with 1 queen bed; 1 studio apartment with 2 queen beds and a 2bedroom/2bath house with a queen bed in each bed room. All units have: fully equipped kitchenettes (house full kitchen); Air conditioning; daily maid service; WIFI; Cable TV; purified water; safe; hair dryer; shampoo. Pool; jacuzzi in tropical garden setting. Guests can check out at no cost: bicycles; beach towels; beach chairs; beach umbrellas. Rooftop breakfast cafe with sweeping ocean views and very competitive prices. Golf cart and scooter available for rent. 2 1/2 blocks to beach.
This is a lovely little hotel on the outskirts of busy Sayulita. It’s on a hill so a bit of a climb. We rented a golf cart so it was great. The pool was small but not many people stuck around during the day anyway. Two more lounge chairs would be nice for another couple to use at the same time. There’s not much difference from a studio and a suite. The studio balcony’s are in direct sun , the suite’s in shade. Studio has a one door mini fridge with a small freezer inside. The suite had one with a separate freezer door so you could fit a whole bag of ice in it. That’s all I cared about for mixing drinks by the pool. A small sitting area inside would have been nice. The service was great. They are very quick to accommodate all your needs! The rooms are clean. They offer breakfast delivery from a nearby restaurant. We never tried the delivery but the breakfast sandwiches from the North Side cafe were incredible ! We either went there or my husband brought it back. It’s close by. The coffee in your room was really good! A small two cup coffee maker but you get a little container of coffee refilled every day. They have sugar and coffee mate packages. We bought our own cream from the Mega store. The beach is close and not nearly as busy as the one in town. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas to take there but we just rented them on the beach. We prefer the loungers. It’s 200-250 pesos for the day. I think they give you a deal if you spend a certain amount of money on food & drinks from the beach side restaurant but We just had two margaritas. Overall , we had a great stay . Thank you Sabrina and all the rest of the staff!

Small, simple hotel in a central location in San Pancho, just a couple of blocks from the beach. No hotel amenities really, it's just a few rooms on the second floor of a building. Each room has direct access from the outside. Each room seems to have a different decor and configuration. Rooms are clean and modern, with TV's, air conditioning, etc. Very handy location. Nice little hotel! The only thing to be aware of is that there is street noise, especially from rooms at the front. Especially music from the restaurants on the street corner outside (Saturday nights in particular). They also seem to be building an addition next door so there is some noise from that as well.

The room was clean and well kept but needs improvement. There's no door to the shower and the water is usually cold, which in December is not appreciated. Is hard to sleep due to the outside noises, especially dogs, cats and roosters, and some noisy neighbors that keep the party late. But the beds were comfy. The location is strange, on a dirty road but only 15 minutes walk to the town center. WiFi is hard to get, we had working WiFi after6 days into our stay. If you are very low maintenance, this is a good place.
