Rising Fawn is a small unincorporated community in the southern part of Dade County, Georgia, United States. It is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is also the location of Cloudland Canyon State Park. Rising Fawn was named after the child of a Cherokee Indian chieftain. The custom was to name the child after the first thing seen. On the following dawn, the chief saw a fawn rise from its bed and thought that he hadn't seen anything more beautiful. He then named his child Rising Fawn.

All menu items are a la carte. Service was excellent to outstanding. Kelsey is a very good server. Knew the menu and the food. We ordered the pork tenderloin well done. It was well done and still moist, delicious. The baked sweet potatoes were generous sized. Got coconut cake for dessert and it was very moist and delicious. Even the sweet tea was good. Saw steak served to another table and it really looked good. Told my wife the next time I wanted steak we would come here.

For almost 40 years, Larry's has been providing local flavor to residents of Trenton and surrounding areas. Our buffet stands out from others with fresh veggies, local produce, in-house smoked BBQ pork and ribs, hand breaded chicken and pork, and homemade desserts. We only serve our customers what we would serve our own families. We peel potatoes, shuck corn, look beans, and whip up pudding just like your grandma did when you were a kid. We open for lunch and dinner four days a week: Thursday through Sunday. Come by and see us!
The food was great! I was surprised that we were charged for our 2-year old (who ate 3 grapes). Evidently it is 70 cents per year for children. There are signs everywhere to not waste, don't fill plate with rolls, etc., again and again reminders. I got it! There was a large selection of food (emphasis on fried) and almost everything we tried we liked. The owners were on-site, friendly and quick to point out they make they're own breading, cooked their own vegetables, barbequed their own meat, etc., Would go again. There is no service to rate since it's a do-it-yourself buffet.

Probably one of the dirtiest places I've seen. You can smell the restroom before you even get close. Toilet paper everywhere, didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. Dirty sink which was also detached from wall. The tables in the back were covered with eraser dust from lotto tickets.

We fell in love with this joint as soon as it opened in our little hometown. We are always greeted promptly and seated as soon as they have availability. The menu literally has something for everyone. Of course, they are known for their bbq. It is absolutely delicious and fresh and smoky. You can get ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. You have three sauces to choose from to top the meats off with. From salads to stuffed potatoes, from fantastic burgers and fried pickles to an awesome club sandwich and hotdogs. Great selection, consistently great food and service. Always a great meal!

They have turned the old Depot Diner location into the Cornerstone. Kent and Penny Bangs Huff are the hands on owners and are providing great food at a reasonable price. Kent is in the kitchen putting his spin on old favorites. Catfish was incredible and the Saturday special of chicken and dressing was so good!. I hope the locals as well as out of towners help them succeed. They are definitely just what Rising Fawn needs.
Just be patient as they are still working out the kinks as all new businesses do.

We pride ourselves on serving high quality food, using fresh and local ingredients, home-cooked to order. We offer a variety of delicious sandwiches, mouth watering burgers, and exciting daily specials. We look forward to seeing y'all soon!
Everything in this restaurant tastes “home made” with many staple menu items , but often many interesting special menu items. None of the food items are greasy ; which is unusually good in a small town restaurant. While they have wonderful hamburgers, they also have a wide variety of sandwiches, salads and soups. When we have out of town guests, this is always a safe place - as all menu items are good. Highly recommend this as an eating option in the trenton, Cloudland Canyon Area.

Had the club sandwich, added crispy bacon and veggies. Was made just right, tasted fresh and the two young ladies working were well trained in customer service.

Though I arrived with a large group for dinner, I was not feeling well but ordered the chopped smoked chicken to avoid anything fatty or greasy. It was fantastic and moist with a pleasant smoked flavor that was not overpowering in smoke. Everyone enjoyed their meals and most required a to go box because they couldn't eat it all in one seating. Service was great and very attentive. The group of 10 was no problem for our waitress in spite of the restaurant being at full capacity.
