Great stay as part of our trip through Tuscany. Beautiful location in between the sunflower fields. Spacious apartment with all the perks you'll need. Lovely restaurant on site. My toddler son loved the playground and the pool as well as having a peak at the tractors in the barn next door. Nearby beautiful Tuscany blue flag beaches. We will definitely be back and perhaps with extended family.

There were no huge defects, but after viewing the photos and for the price 83 euro we expected more relaxing place (real borgo degli olivi!) and with more services. + Our room was clean and comfortable – with fridge, hairdryer, safe and conditioning + The bathroom was huge with two parts – sink and shower-toilet + Breakfast was as sweet so salty, even with hot dishes (omelet and bacon) but without fresh vegetables and fruits – very strange for the hotel of this level. + Reception was very helpful and polite + There is a free private parking which you can use 24 hours a day + The swimming pool is clean and comfortable, with sunbeds, shower, toilets (everything is free) and a small bar + There is a good supermarket near the hotel - Hotel has a big territory with olive and pine trees, but there are no places for outside relax e.g. terrases, benches, pergolas etc., only swimming pool with sunbeds which is open during daylight hours. - Rooms are situated so that when you exit to the balcony you see all your neighbours and they see you (shared balcony), so there is no privacy. - Wi-Fi didn’t work near the swimming pool and every time when we used it in the hotel we had to register and later we have received a lot of spam by email. - Although where was Wi-Fi in our room (which was situated above the reception) there was no mobile connection. - Our room was spacious and comfortable but there wasn’t enough light in the evening and it was too simple and not very cosy for the hotel of this level (standard room of standard hotel for business trips) - It is a hotel neither for the vacation on the beach (about 6 km far from the seaside), nor for the country-weekend cause there is nothing to do.

We spent a week with grandma, 19 months daughter and myself (mom). How people can write this is perfect for children is beyond me. First floor terraces have no gates preventing toddlers from walking (and falling) down the stairs, electrics and cables in the garden were accessible by anyone, the garden was covered in birds foul, and access to the beach is adventurous, with steep hill and no indication of buggy/ wheelchair access. We had the crazy idea of eating at the restaurant and bar to avoid cooking, and were stuck with defrost food at lunch and same pasta and fish/ meat in the evening; no way we could have steam Vegs for my daughter as a variation from grilled ones or french fries or salad. Such a shame, considering the amazing location; case in point of Italy’s tragic lack of management and waste of unique strengths. Will never set foot there again and will discourage anyone who asks for an opinion.

Posto raccomandatissimo!!!

Bio-Farmhouse in Tuscany countryside a shot distnce to the riviera made of three rural buildings:the Villa on the top of the hill, one-family villa at the bottom of the hill and 1 farm at 2 km while from the master villa.
At the end of a (little bit too long) gravel road, and slightly up a hill, you will find the most fantastic farmhouse set in a pretty garden. There is a pool, but no restaurant, but the main feature is the house. Renovated to perfection and paying homage to an upper class home of Tuscany a hundred years ago, the house is an attraction in itself. Fantastic rooms and apartments (only 10-11 units altogether) equipped with furniture from times long gone. No artificial air conditioning, just relying on a slight breeze flowing through open windows (perfectly sealed with mosquito nets), the building provides good vibrations that will put you in a good mood. Great night sky if you move away from the floodlights, and just a few miles to nearest village with coop, and very good restaurant. Try the place on the square by the church in nearby Riotorte.
