Reviewed By rhysw552016This place is for those who want a little more character than we often see in hotels these days, with their cookie-cutter approach to decor and style. Not that this place lacks anything in terms of quality, comfort and service - it is right up there with the best. They have such interesting and imaginative things decorating the hotel and it is great to just explore and see them - nothing boring or bland here. The rooms are a nice sizer with comfortable beds and additional heating (that is put on prior to your arrival - a nice touch). The breakfast was amazing - I dont eat a big breakfast but made an exception here - everything was so fresh that I just inhaled it.

Reviewed By HelloiseEliotIt's what it announces itself to be: a place to sleep in. It was clean, comfortable, but it's just that. Decor is quite dated, feels like a throwback to the 90s, but it does the job, I guess. Nice that they have a complimentary breakfast.

Cozinha completa, lareira e um amplo alpendre com churrasqueira e uma vista fantástica para as vindimas. Internet em toda a casa sem falhas! Piscina a poucos metros do quarto. Na zona existem vários restaurantes( bons e baratos) supermercados e as salinas de rio maior. De realçar a simpatia da D. Gertudes. Sempre disponível e com um sorriso enorme! Um beijinho grande! Voltarei certamente! Muito obrigado a todos!

The presence of the Moorish style in this area of Portugal, inspired the owner of Casa da Al-deia, to rebuild this fascinating Country house. Located next to the Natural Park of Serras D’Aire and Candeeiros, in the smallest village, of Rio Maior, Senta has six houses only, giving those guests privacy and quietness. Restored and decorated with Arabic furniture, this independent villa, has plenty of space and comfort. Casa da Al-deia has four bedrooms, each one with private bathroom, a large kitchen, with a wide sitting-room and a terrace along the house, overlooking a private garden and a swimming pool. The villa stands in a valley with a view to the mountains and has a prefect location to visit the surroundings.
Fijn verblijf
Reviewed By KimvdHeideEen fijn appartement. Mooi uitzicht op de kust van Faro. Deze ligt wel wat verder weg, maar is binnen 15 minuten te bereiken. Overdag aan een wat drukkere weg, in de nacht erg rustig. Goed kunnen slapen, ook door het fijne bed. Het appartement was ruim, schoon en heerlijk licht. Keuken was groot en van alle gemakken voorzien. Verder een prima badkamer. Een goede plek om tot rust te komen. Heel vriendelijke, behulpzame eigenaren die veel tips over de omgeving konden vertellen. Kortom een heerlijk verblijf hierdoor in de Algarve.

A restored old windmill, Moinho da Senta, is a cosy and small rustic house which allows its guests to live a unique experience. Exclusively for the guests the reconverted wind mill has a sitting-room with fireplace, one bedroom and a bathroom. Some meters away, carved in a big stone, there is a kitchen, from where it is possible to be delight with the natural landscape. Surrounded by nature, outside the windmill (Moinho de vento in Portuguese) there are tables and seats, an invitation to read a book or simply enjoy the beauty, silence and tranquillity from this refugee. Moinho da Senta is located in the top of a hill inside the Natural Park of Serras D’Aire and Candeeiros.

Reviewed By Roam397644Quando faço marcações uma das coisas que me influencia são fotografias do que irei encontrar, sabendo de antemão que poderá já não corresponder à realidade. Só que sem essa informação não tenho a possibilidade de reclamar se não me satisfizer, visto que o proprietário tem defesa por própria actuação. Tendo em conta que as avaliações anteriores já não são actuais... não poderei esperar muito. Ou será que estou enganada? Olga Agua
