I think that is too difficult for a restaurant to have many specialties and have a quality at all. in the case of the Mundi, since they serve Japanese food, Italian food, Meats, Brazilian food, pizza, etc., etc.. the food surprised me because it is good. ( to be honest, we have not tried Japanese food and pizza) Emphasis on the Bobó de Camarão ( speciality of brasilian food with shrimps). Very good. Despite being nominated for two people, three serves very well. If you do not like cilantro, do not forget to say it to the waiter, because it comes too much in the sauce. If you do not like loud, take place away from the band that plays music at night. although the band is good, loud sound make impossible any conversation at the table. (anyway, sometimes this may be a good idea!!!rsrsrsr). The service is not so good, but they try.

Este restaurante oferece pratos tradicionais de carne ou peixes para 1 ou 2 pessoas, mas muito bem servidos. No nosso caso, a picanha para 2 deu para 4 adultos e 1 criança (R$84,00) . O atendimento é bom, o prato demorou uns 20 minutos.
O ambiente é confortável, mas não acessível totalmente - tem 3 degraus na entrada, sem rampas.
Enfim, honesto para um almoço em família.

Macaxeira Tapiocaria is virtually next door to the family home here in Rio das Ostras yet, after passing by countless times, this evening is the first time we had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment.
The door was held open as we were welcomed by the maître d', Vanderlei who invited us to choose a table. There were several available on this quiet, Tuesday evening. Between him and our waiter, Alessandro, the service was polite, friendly, prompt, and efficient: truly first class and excellent in every way.
The food was a match for the service and is an excellent example of Brazilian North East cuisine done well. I feel compelled to congratulate the owner for surrounding himself with such a fine team and for providing a memorable dining experience.
I feel very comfortable in giving this restaurant 5/5 and would recommend it to anyone in the region looking for a nice place to dine.

This restaurant is nothing really much more speacil than other in the beach, or even in the state of rio. You can find the picanha and churrasco misto, the space is good, lots of spots and it is right in front of the beach which is good. Meat was good and sides too for a ok price.

The restaurant was close to the hotel I was staying and the service was excellent. You can opt for the "rodízio" which can be translated as "all you can eat" with the difference that besides the regular buffet that you can serve yourself, they go around the room with more service dishes (so you do not need to stand up), so the service comes in "rounds" that is where the "rodízio" name comes from. or you can opt for the à la carte service if you want.

The restaurant is very successful in th city but, in my opinion, mostly because of the lask of options.
The way it operates is by having a buffet with most of the options available. The remaining options are offered by the servers at the tables. I personally dislike this modus operandi as sometimes it will take a while for something you'd like to get to show up at your table.
In any case, if you're craving japanese food (even though it's not the traditional style) it fills the void.

Great pizza place. The pizza is awesome, service is very good and the play area for kids are super nice. They have a special bathroom for kids, with small toilets, low sink, really good place to eat a good pizza and enjoy with your kid.

Ótima massa de pizza. Muita variedade e rapidez no atendimento. Ideal para famílias. Além de pizzas, no rodízio também tem muitas opções de massas. O melhor espaguete alho e óleo que já comi. Vale muito à pena. Preço justo.
