Reviewed By pepsioniceOn the positive, super pool and relatively quiet. Bar and staff there are great. Rooms probably need a slight upgrade. Breakfast was great. Dinner buffet? Skip it. Probably a great atmosphere in the winter period.

Cozy Bavarian stay
Reviewed By ddillingerCafe Frank is a lovely little B&B style lodging on a hill overlooking the tiny town of Rimbach. If you are looking for a fancy hotel, this is not your place. But for a true Bavarian experience, Cafe Frank works quite well. Our room was small, but comfortable and immaculate and it accessed a large patio. We had a comfy bed with lovely down duvets. Breakfast was wonderful with juice, meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, soft-boiled eggs, and coffee or tea. Franceska and Viktor live onsite with their family and there is also a wood carving shop on property. They were working on redoing their patio while we were there and it will be a lovely place to sit and enjoy the area when complete. It is an easy and pleasant walk into downtown Rimbach. Our bed was quite comfy! My only negatives are that they could provide some much nicer/softer towels for the room.

Visit to the Bavarian Woods...
Reviewed By John KThis hotel has nice clean rooms, good Bavarian food and good prices. Nearby is great hiking, biking and scenery. Nothing fancy here ( no massage in the hotel, for example); just all the expected basics for a standard price. They do have an elevator. I have stayed 2 times; I am happy. This was a beautiful drive from Munich to here near the Czech border. (This is a review by an American)

Schöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage
Reviewed By angi1860Die Wohnung hatte eine Wohnküche, zwei Schlafzimmer, Bad und eine riesige Terrasse. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht, sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem tollen Ausblick in den Bayer.Wald. Etwas ausserhalb gelegen und ziemlich steil bis in den Ort aber ganz tolle und nette Vermieter.
