Recent review: "Great Lunch - Great Service Had a fabulous lunch with my family - Miriam was our waitress and did an absolutely stellar job! Will eat here again soon - loved the make your own salad option!"
We dined twice at the Bluefin during our stay in Providence and were impressed with the quality of the meals both times. The Margherita flatbread is delicious, just the right amount of cheese, crispy bread and tomatoes. Ahi Tuna wonton was also a hit with our group and we ordered it twice! Staff are attentive and welcoming, especially Yissell who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and treated us like VIPs.

Julians has been serving Providence and beyond since 1994. Our award-winning brunch and seasonal menus locally source and house make as much as possible for the highest quality, most delicious dishes ever!
We went to dinner on a rainy April night (no surprise itâs April ) we arrived to find the place packed but we were assured it would only be 10-20 minutes and was given the drink list while waiting. We ordered our drinks and they were bright to us in line while waiting on a table. We got our table and a carafe of water and glasses were brought to the table as we pondered the menu. I chose the dashi bowl and so delish I would order this many times over. My wife choose the crispy duck breast which was tender and juicy but could use just a touch more crisping. All in all a great meal and drinks with friends . The atmosphere was a bit loud but not where you couldnât hear your table. Julianâs is a true hidden gem a must try

The Dorrance is the perfect combination of old world glamour and majestic architecture. Built in 1901, this beautiful space is surrounded by breathtaking stain glass windows, each depicting a different Coat of Arms from wealthy European banking families.
Our family was attending a wedding rehearsal dinner at the Dorrance and everyone raved about this restaurant. Situated in an old bank building, the Dorrance has created truly special venue for dinner or simply for after work drinks. Also featured was a jazzy combo performing in one corner of the "lobby"---this was a special place---the food & service was excellent. We hope to return again soon!

This recent addition to the Providence Restaurant scene offers at least four options of vegetarian dining. Everything is plant based, no meat. We have tried Double Zero, their upstairs restaurant, several time since its opening in June. The menu offers a range of imaginatively named pizzas, such as a Margarita with cashew butter cheese, Basil, and tomatoes or a pepperoni pizza, spicy, flavored like pepperoni but no pepperoni with a choice of three nut or grain based cheeses. Gluten free crust is available. Their version of a Zucchini lasagna is cold with zucchini, cucumber, tomatoes, pepper slices pesto and tomato sauces and cheese, piled high, Their version of eggplant caponata is loaded with pine nuts, capers, and onion on a thin bed of eggplant. All delicious. There is a cocktail menu and wines and beer menu. Service is friendly and not rushed although, dishes are served when ready, not necessarily together, so meal pacing can be irregular. Large serving bottles of water are brought to the table. Everything is a la carte and pricey but very fresh and high quality. Unfortunately, the much smaller Bar Verde Mexican style restaurant, adjacent has much smaller seating capacity and while having an interesting menu, one cannot order from that menu unless you are in that particular part of the upstairs dining rooms. The downstairs choices are of a "make out" or take out style cafe and a burger style restaurant. There is a small grocery area. There is no elevator so the upstairs restaurants are not disabled friendly. The entire building can be very noisy and chaotic when full, so chose your hours carefully. There is outdoor seating and a parking lot available. Worth trying for a unique experience.
