Itâs been a while since we been here and this visit was average at best. Actually, I would rate this 2 1/2 stars. The pizza dough tasted more like a biscuit dough rather than pizza dough. The flavors werenât that tasty. This is unusual, but our kids meals were good according to them!

I was looking forward to trying DiVibe because we live close by. Nice decor, busy bar and clean. We started by sharing the fried calamari with garlic and lemon ($12). It would have been great if it wasnât for the slight aftertaste of the oil it was cooked in. My husband got the veal Parmigiana ($16). He said the sauce was great. Unfortunately, the veal was hard and dried out along the edges and had a slight oil aftertaste. The penne could have been cooked a little less as well. I got the eggplant parmigiana ($16). It would have been great if it wasnât for the slight oil aftertaste. The penne was not cooked al dente. Overall, we were disappointed.

Had dinner there on Thursday 10/18/18. Greeted quickly and professionally. Had a couple of glasses of CA red wine with the snail salad which was the best I've had along with Linguini Vongole with white sauce. Had an expresso and a piece of their molten chocolate cake for desert. I would easily give the experience a 9.5 out of 10. Just a fabulous dinner.

It was a post-movie visit on a Sunday evening in the middle of a heat wave and we were delightfully impressed. Our last visit was well over a decade ago and that time we were unimpressed (noisy, crowded, slow service and marginal food). This time was a complete turn around. It was around 6pm but the place was not jammed and we were seated in a comfortable booth along the north wall where our server, Amber greeted us with a huge smile. With water and fresh rolls on the way, we reviewed the extensive (but not overwhelming) menu. The warm rolls arrived with fresh herbs infused in oil on the side, Yum. I ordered a cup on lentil and sausage soup (to die for) and my wife had a cup of Minestrone that reminded me of a friend's all-day, simmering Sunday soup pot. Mmm.My main course consisted of wood grilled chicken, butterflied and stuffed with cheese and prosciutto with mashed potatoes on the side. My wife ordered chicken parm with penne pasta covered with a delicious marinara sauce. (Not like I'd find in southern Italy, but close enough and delicious). A half-priced bottle of California Pinot Noir topped things off. Could not have been nicer! Amber checked on us routinely and made sure things were running smoothly (and they were). A delightful re-discovery. We will be back.

The Greenwood Inn is a family-owned and managed full-service restaurant that was established in 1954. We've been called a RI Institution, and we're very proud and appreciative of that. Our menu is quite varied but we're known for our seafood (baked stuffe
My family recently had a birthday dinner for my mother. Twelve of us were there. First off, we could not have had a better server! Eddie was amazing. He was attentive, anticipated our needs perfectly, and has an award winning personality. The food was excellent. All of us were very pleased with our meals. The restaurant gave us great seating in a separate room so we had room enough and were not right in the middle of other diners. A big thank you to everyone there for helping us making mom's birthday wonderful and a special thank you to Eddie who made us all laugh and enjoy it that much more.So very glad to hear this great feedback. It was our pleasure to help give your mom a great birthday celebration. And thank you for acknowledging Eddie. Like so many of our servers and hostesses, he truly enjoys making our customers feel special! (Thank you, Eddie!)

An inspired Italian restaurant, our focus at Avvio is on fresh, simple ingredients. Prepared with distinct, yet traditional cooking techniques, our menu features Italian classic dishes along with true Neapolitan pizzas, fresh Italian salads and wood-fire
Atmosphere is lovely. Busy bar scene. Immaculate, excellent service. I never had to request more water. Bread sticks and bread upon request. Choices for vegan and gluten free. Handicap accessible. Veal parmigiana was very good. Wonderful sauce/gravy for the pasta. The Pasta Con Pollo was good, but was weak on the chicken portion. Chicken pieces were very small and thin; much was over cooked.Thank you Bobbie. Thanks for the very kind review and we are glad you enjoy it here at Avvio. We are always glad to know our service makes a good impression. We will share your feedback on the Pasta con Pollo with our culinary team. They are always listening to guest feedback to find out how we can keep getting better. We hope you come back and join us again. Gratefully,Raul EstevesGeneral Manager

Every time we go here the food is spot on. I love to cook and you know how sometimes you go and after a meal think...I could do better than this...well not here! The chef creates a nice blend of staple dishes that everyone can enjoy and mixes in a few specials that are amazing. Ive been here at least a half dozen times and never had a complaint. The cornmeal crusted cod with risotto was delicious and so was my wives surf and turf. To top it off its BYOB! bring a nice bottle and enjoy the best food that rivals food on the hill.

Went to Elizabeth's Portofino while traveling through the area after purchasing a Restaurant.com voucher. Our server, Justin, was extremely attentive and we loved every recommendation he offered. We had two of the specials which had veal and pasta, and another with linguine and seafood inna white wine cream sauce. Both were scrumptuous! The Pear Martinis were also delicious and for dessert there were indulgences in Bailey's Irish Cream Cheesecake and Limoncello Tiramisu for the end of a perfect meal. Will definitely be returning on our next trip through Providence. Thanks again for great service and the best meal we've had thusfar on our vacation to New England!
