Not exactly a welcoming spot. We came upon a nearly empty dining room and was still given the stink eye for not having a reservation. The food was fine. Cubing the steak was weird. Service was very slow

Wonderful mealâcaprese salad (basal a bit dry) melted in mouth; local oysters were very good (served with interesting shaved ice to cleanse palate). Dinners (Duck three ways; gnocchi with cauliflower, asparagus and peas in a light delicate sauce) were terrific and portions sizable. Excellent serverâMichaela. Wish we lived closer to come here often!

In Providence for RISD we looked for a gourmet white table cloth modern vibe venue. Gracies is it. Wonderful salad with locally sourced greens followed by fresh fish was cooked perfectly. Member of our party had pasta which was all dente and special. Excellent wines an elegant service. Iâll be back!

Hemenway's, an icon in the Rhode Island food scene and the go-to destination for fresh, top-of-catch seafood has been serving both locals and visitors to the capital city for decades. Constantly innovating, Chef Max Peterson delights in creating dishes th
A highlight of coming to Providence is enjoying fine dining. Hemenwayâs fresh seafood entrees are second to none. We enjoyed swordfish, king crab legs, salmon and a NY strip. Our server was delightful too. Thank you blueheaven1989. We are very happy you enjoyed and it is always a thrill to hear we were a highlight on a trip to Providence. We appreciate you joining us and hope we see you again soon. Gratefully,Nicole ChristieAssistant General Manager

This visit, my husband and I enjoyed Lobster Benedict (chock-full of lobster), Portuguese Blade Meat Omelet (awesome), a half-order of their famous Custard-Stuffed French Toast (LOADED with pecans and fresh fruits), and a side order of homemade Hash. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. Our waitress was superb. You will never be disappointed at this historical diner!!!!

I am a meat eater first class, however my daughter and her friend are vegitarian. Where to take them out to eat? They were told of the Garden Grille all the way up in Maine. I told them we can try it and see if you like it. They loved it and I must say the veggie burger was not at all bad,it was a very tasty burger. They tried the gluten free mac and cheese and the veggie burgers. I did taste it and again must say it was really good. They started with something with tofu which they could not get me to try. I do not do it even with chinese food.maybe it is the name tofu. However it is a very nice, small place, cute, and they do wine and beer of which we did have.Service was very good and made for a great experience for a first timer like me. what can be bad? it is all very healthy and does taste very good. I may serve vegi burgers at my BBQ at home for those who would like them. A good choice for those who are Veggi people.

Chardonnay's is a casual yet elegant restaurant featuring eclectic new-American cuisine and a carefully chosen wine list that includes twenty wines by the glass and many more by the bottle. We do not take reservations for the bar or the bar area, sorry. T
We came here for dinner with friends this evening and had a very nice meal. The restaurant was not crowded (it was a Monday evening) and we were seated right away. While we didn't have any appetizers, our mains were all delicious. Chicken gorgonzola, grilled salmon, penne jambalaya and the pear and gorgonzola salad were our choices and everyone was very happy with their meals. Service was good but not intrusive (we sat around and chatted for a while with no pressure to leave). They were also very accommodating to gluten allergies and were able to accommodate one of the menu items to make it gluten free. We haven't been here in a long time but were very glad we came back. Will definitely come again!

Offering a setting that is unlike any other in Providence, Waterman Grille is situated along the Seekonk River in a former bridge gatehouse that dates back to 1871. With its ageless brick, restored wood patinas and open kitchen, Waterman has become a neig
Reservations: Made online; they were needed (and are highly recommended), and, most important, honored.View/Ambiance: We enjoyed the wood/brick décor and the view of the river.Service: Daniel was our waiter and he was great! He was friendly, prompt, hard-working. Great job, Daniel, (from the couple from Chicago).Food: Amazing. Every dish was mouth-watering. Value: More than reasonable for such a find.If we lived in the Providence area, this would be our go-to restaurant. Keep up the good work, Waterman. We look forward to visiting again. Thanks fourfamilytravels! So happy to hear you enjoyed everything and that Daniel made your experience even better (I'll be sure to pass along your compliments). We wish you lived in Providence too so we could be your regular spot. Until then, we thank you and hope our paths will cross again. Gratefully,Michael AccettaGeneral Manager

We heard about it and finally came in for lunch. The Paninis were awesome. From the Cuban to the Turkey weâre done to perfection. Canât wait for our next visit
The Black Duck Tavern serves exceptional Craft Beers and Cocktails in a comfortable speakeasy/gastropub setting.
Went here for a flight of beers. Did not eat here. They have a good mix of beers but the flight was pretty expensive 4 for $15. Nice bar.
