Romantic Rhineland-Palatinate is at the very heart of Riesling production in Germany, home to the largest wine regions in the country. The state is defined by lush vineyards, quaint medieval villages, UNESCO World Heritage sites, picturesque castles, volcanic lakes and wine-rich valleys. Its sylvan forests and rising mountains provide the perfect backdrop to a summer hike, bike ride or wine tasting adventure, while its cities and towns are alive with cultural activities and festivals.

Great hotel with a smaller SPA, not crowded, great personnel!! Very good breakfast, wide choice of different styles. We had a good long weekend and will come again! The only negative comment would concern the Spanish restaurant - very long waiting for pre-ordered dish and a lack of choice for different dishes. The second restaurant had also a very limited choice.

My husband and two teenage boys spent a lovely weekend here. Cocktails in the courtyard with an amazing locally sourced white wine started the evening off brilliantly. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good and plentiful. Jens, our bartender, sommelier, and over all care taker was the consummate luxury hotel professional. This is old Germany so a bit formal but the vibe is relaxed and friendly. The staff is all about service. I took full advantage of all of the amenities- pool, steam rooms, sauna, relaxation rooms, gym. My husband did an 8k hike up and down one of the surrounding hills and loved it. The boys explored the town and found a good pizza place. Breakfast is everything you’d want. The boys had two small connecting rooms each with its own single bed and bath. Great for families. We had a small suite overlooking the courtyard. This is a part of Germany I’d not seen. Green hills, vineyards, the Mosel, lush valleys. Totally different than the metropolitan areas. We drove there from the Burg Eltz - an easy 45 drive. The hotel is not in the country as it appears on the website. Instead it is in the middle of the little town. But, once inside it is quiet and serene.

The place was very roomy, more than enough space for 4 people. Maybe 5 if someone slept on a sofa downstairs. You'll need to drive a ways to find a grocery store (Lidl is probably closest) and the only nearby restaurant is at the resort, so just be prepared to do some driving for dining options. Also, bring your own towels! We weren't aware that these are the "self catering" units which are very bare-bones, and since we don't normally bring towels on vacation, we had to improvise on that first day which was pretty interesting. :) Finally, make sure you arrange your breakfast the day/evening before - the room guide lists breakfast as a buffet, so we caught the poor hostess off guard when we showed up for breakfast and she didn't have one ready. Otherwise the place was spacious and clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. We were visiting family nearby so we didn't take advantage of the other features of the resort, but we had a lovely stay and the price was just right.

Welcome to the wonderful Eifel! The Nürburgring Ferienpark - managed by Lindner is located only 5km away from the legendary race track and is still in the middle of nature. Great vacation homes for 5-8 people, a park bistro & mini supermarket, the Vulkaneifel Spa, Kids Chaos Club & Adventure House for the kids, sports facilities, barbecue kotas and the fantastic Eifel landscape with spectacular hiking and MTB trails - if you don't switch off from everyday life here, you have only yourself to blame!
The location of the resort near the Nurburring, which may be important for motorsport fans. The area can also please people who like peace and nature. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. It can be used by people who like hiking and cycling. Bicycles can be rented on site. The house in which I lived was enough for five active people. There is a SPA on site and a sauna (Bio- and Finnish) included in the cost of the stay.
