This small restaurant in Bingen is tucked away in a quiet part of the town and could easily be overlooked but thank goodness we found it!It is a traditional restaurant catering for locals, who keep it busy. Great beer and wine, great food and great company in the form of the local patrons who engaged with us tourists, despite our German language skills being very poor!We spent 2 pleasant nights at this venue and had a great time conversing with locals. We tried hard with our poor German skills and between this and the relatively good English language skills of the patrons, we got by! It has to be said that staff in the restaurant have poor English language and hence some menu options were difficult to have explained to us, but this is a difficulty caused by our poor German language skills and no fault of theirs - we are in Germany after all and I am ashamed to say that my foreign language skills are very poor!Once we selected suitable menu choices, the food provided was hearty and satisfying, not fancy and pretentious and reasonably priced.Overall a great meal with great service and good local company - a recommended restaurant!

We had dinner at the restaurant at the Weingut Krüger-Rumpf in Münster-Sarmsheim. The weather was great and we could therefore sit in the nice courtyard. The service was very friendly and the food that we had ordered was very good. The red mullet with mediterranean vegetables was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The wines from the property that we tasted by the glass were all excellent. A restaurant that I can highly recommend!

Beautiful old building thankfully not much altered in five hundred years.Single server/barman/pizza chef working like a blur but managing to cope.Terrific crisp pizzas and a bottle of local Reisling capped a lovely visit (by ferry) to this gem of an historic town. Yes it is close to the autobahn but much better to link with a stop off on a day cruise as we did from Ammanshausen up river.

Enjoy regional products and wines from the winery Laquai. We like to welcome you in a nice and friendly atmosphere.
We were recommended by our landlady to eat here, we went down for a beer first to have a look, it is situated overlooking the river, we were made welcome to sit out side in the afternoon sun, the place was quite busy with lots of different people dropping in to eat and drink we noticed at lot of locals were there which is always a good thing, the restaurant is also biker friendly.we asked about coming back later to eat and were more or less informed they had already reserved us a table of 6 for 730 the landlord had a great sense of hummer so we said we would be there for 8, We turned up just before 8 to find a coach load just being seated, he came over seated us at our table gave us German and English menus to choose from (they are the same meals just look different when written) we joked over the coach party with him ordered our drinks a few minutes later we ordered our meals which didn't take that long really to come out, we would definitely recommend the onion soup with cognac, we all commented on it never had anything like it before and so far haven't had anything like it since, we all chose more or less different main meals and all our meals were homemade, flavour some and plenty full, after we finished our meals we asked if we could stay for a few beers out side as it appeared to us they were closing, we were invited to an outside table and informed as long as we wanted to sit and drink they would serve us, as we were riding the next day we didn't stay late but we really were made to feel welcome. we would not hesitate to recommend stopping here to either eat, drink or just sit at a table with a coffee chilling out and talking with friends, the river as a back drop is just so relaxing and inviting.

Gutsausschank mit groÃem Restaurant in Bingen-Büdesheim
Spent a great spring evening at this typical German restaurant with its generous portions of everything, food and wine. The wine list is impressive with a large variety of wines mostly riesling and its burgunder (burgundy) whites. The schnitzels are huge and you can add a salad and fries if you're really hungry. Try some of the local starters with cheese in an onion flavoured dish. Very good.

An initiative of several local wine producers to come up with a place to enjoy high quality regional wines. If it is for testing or just taking a break - the place offers good quality, reasonable prices and a superb location. Do not hesitate to buy if you like the wine.
