I visited here while on a business trip, it was recommended by my colleague. Although the menu was not in English the staff were very helpful and understanding. I had a very tasty onion soup followed by lamb. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. A definite possibility if you are stopping in this lovely town.

Wir haben uns an einem Weinfestabend dazu verleiten lassen, wegen der sehr kleinen Karte (ca. 10 Gerichte) in das Restaurant zu gehen. Wenige Gerichte sollte ein Koch hin bekommen, ohne sich zu verzetteln. Vorher die Standardfrage an die nette Bedienung: Was ist selbst gekocht? Alles!Wir können aber nur den Sauerbraten mit Rotkraut und Spätzle bzw. Ofenkartoffel beurteilen. Der Braten war nur extrem sauer und definitiv tiefgefroren. Der Rotkohl, ja, auch sehr sauer und nicht weiter geschmacklich verfeinert. Der Quark zur Kartoffel war ebenfalls weitgehend ohne Geschmack. Es tut uns leid, aber "Zum Bacchus" ist nur für Weinfestgäste zu fortgeschrittener Stunde zu empfehlen.
