In this (despite its name) very small village we was not prepared to find a restaurant of this standing. Just off the narrow sleepy street (Hauptstrasse indeed) this hidden gem served an exquisite and well prepared lunch, complete with a pre-dinner amuse-bouche and a delightful and tasty finishing tidbit to the coffee. Excellent!

We stopped at this place on the offchance and found it to be very chic, friendly owners who go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable - its aactually 2 restaurants in one, one a Tappas which they call Happas and the other a very upmarket restaurant. We chose the Happas as the other was full - the food was well presented but rather overpriced in our opinion - charging Euro 4 for a normal feldtsalad is a rip-off in my book - service, decor and presentation was exceptional !

We came here on the hotel's recommendation when the restaurant we wanted to visit was closed. It was a pleasant surprise. The gentleman who took care of us spoke English and helped with the menus and food selection. We were two couples and everyone was delighted with their food and the wine.It was a pleasant surprise.
