I appreciate the hospitality and the friendness of the owners of this gastatte. It looks like a pub but you can eat and drink till a normal hour (not so early like the German style which impose you to eat at 18.30 or 19.00. A place to go without fear to be stolen for usual food.They don't speak much English but it easy to communicate for fundamental questions ...

Another tourist recommended this place to us. We were looking for an alternative to German food for lunch. Four of us ordered the Doner Kebab and my youngest ordered a pizza. He really liked his pizza. I tried a bite and wasn't that impressed. However, the donor kebab was excellent. It's sort of like a gyro in a pita pocket. Flavorful meat and other toppings. Inexpensive and delicious lunch option.

I had my first schnitzel here! There's pretty good food here (okayish fries), but the real winner is the view. There are tables both on top of and on bottom of a small hill from which you can see the Rhine River; it's an excellent place for photos!
