We are visting Bad Kreuznach from Canada for 3 months. We came upon Cello by accident as it is located a 10 minute walk from our flat. We are so fortunate to have found this hidden little gem which is far off the tourist path. We have visited 6 times in our first 43 days. The ambiance is great and the food and service are both superlative. The food is fresh, of excellent quality and good size portions at a reasonable cost. We have tried pizza to grilled chicken in lemon butter and many of their pasta dishes. We have yet to be disappointed. Our primary server Fabio, speaks English and he is excellent at his job. Fabio makes us feel welcomed and special every time we have had dinner. We will go to Cello again a number of times before we return home to Canada. We took our Italian friends from Mainz for dinner at Cello and they told us the quality of food and service was better than any Italian restaurant in their city. To Fabio and his colleagues thank you so much for always providing us with a delightful evening of dining

Try spaghetti prepared in bowl out of italian cheese. Daily recommendations are written on a blackboard and worthwhile considering. But also a traditional Pizza is a good choice (they do not offer the usual list of 20 types).The owner has the charming friendliness of an Italian.The location is a little bit overstuffed with Italian things and could need some renovation. But this adds to the authentic atmosphere.

Das Restaurant ist hell und modern eingerichtet. Wir wurden freundlich begrüÃt. Wir teilten uns knusprige Crostini, es gab einen gehaltvollen WeiÃwein. Wir entschieden uns für Pasta. Tagliatelle Amatriciana und Tris di Pasta kamen schön heià auf den Tisch und waren geschmacklich so, wie die italienische Mama sie auch machen würde. Alles gut -grazie.

lovely outdoor terrace and phenomenol food, service and wine list makes al fiume one of my favorites in Bad Kreuznach. Excellent value for quality provided. Never dissapoints. Enjoy!

Im Imbiss kann auch gegessen werden, für einen Dönerladen nicht mal so ungemütlich, nur etwas altbacken.Das Essen hat gleichbleibend gute Qualität, die Salatauswahl ist allerdings sehr begrenzt.Das Fleisch ist immer weder zu wenig noch zu viel gegrillt, die Pommes sind auch stets korrekt frittiert, die Pizzen anständig belegt.

Eher durch Zufall entdeckt, aber ganz sicher nicht enttäuscht haben wir hier gut italienisch gegessen.Die Karte ist nicht zu groà und beinhaltet die üblichen Verdächtigen, welche aber wirklich gut zubereitet sind (Wir hatten Vorspeisen, Nudeln und Pizza).Die Crew ist aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein und der Preis hat uns positiv überrascht

We had a beautiful dinner last night and were adviced by one of the waiters about a very good local German wine from the area (not on the wine list). Food was excellent from starter to dessert. We were a party of three and all had different dishes which all had an excellent quality.Service was wonderful, all staff very qualified, friendly with attention to all guests.After settling the restaurant bill we were offered a grappa of the house.

From the moment we entered the restaurant everything was superb. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner which set the tone, then we were quickly seated with a wonderful view of the Nahe river only a few feet away. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly which is exactly how it should be. Then the food was served and it was superb. Delicious Italian food matched with a wonderful Italian wine. One thing i noticed was how well drilled the wait staff were. When they were free, they didn't just mingle somewhere. They paid attention to the tables and soon as something was needed they were there, it was the best service i have found in a long time. There is a reason for this restaurant being ranked #1. There is nothing i could fault. Would dine here every time I'm in town.
