Speisen immer frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. Tolle Menüangebote und dazu ein Salatbuffet das wirklich nicht zu toppen ist.Bedienung immer nett und freundlich und die Inhaber auch sehr zuvorkommend und immer für ein Schwätzchen zu haben.

Urige Bahnhofskneipe. Vorteil: Essen im Nebenzimmer. Weiterer Vorteil: Muttern kocht selbst. Salat gut. Sogar ein leckerer Gruss aus der Küche. Wow. Hauptgerichte lecker. Im Rücken eine Bücherwand eines ansässigen Antiquariats, einfach klasse. Bücher grad mit eingekauft. Bedienung hervorragend. Völlig unterschätzt. Und einen Besuch ist jederzeit empfehlenswert. Toll.

Ended up there pretty much by accident. The staff are welcoming and the food combines traditional regional cuisine with some nice French-inspired twists. Had the game and a crêpe Suzette. Both excellent.

We went there with a group of 5 people and a small child. The service was good and very friendly. For me the menu was a bit to German, with a large emphasis on the famous schnitzel, without offering the veal schnitzel. The food was good, the salad that I ordered on the side was necessary because this was a little lacking on my dish. For the price that you pay this a good meal for your buck.

This renovated watermill has a great interior that provides a cosy , warm admosphere for a great dinner. The menu has typical local dishes and are very generous. Try the rack of lamb or the local steak if you're a meat lover.Service was great and all reasonable prices. Just make sure to make a reservation on a friday or saturday because it's filled up.

Alt-Stadtkyll has a nice sitting area outside. They offer a wide variety of mainly German food and beers. The Schnitzel is excellent, especially the XXL (huge!). The food presented in pans (Paenchen) looks really nice. Maybe not for vegetarians though. You get a lot of food (and beer) for your money and there's a small and simple salad bar inside. Only downside was the slow service. There was just 1 waitress covering the entire place and it took a long time before the food was served. Other than that, great place to enjoy a huge Schnitzel!

We sat down with the four of us (didnât make a reservation on a saturdaynight) in restaurant Woods. Around 18-19u itâs quite busy but they had a table for us. The food is ok, although our medium and rare steak were both (very) well done. Pricewise itâs a friendly place to eat. Culinairy it was ok but nothing fancy and I would look elsewhere next time.

I had one of my best meals ever here! And without knowing what to expect: the menu is only in German, and the server speaks no English. One of the kitchen staff was brought to assist and she could translate the main component of each entrée so I knew I was getting pork and my spouse salmon. (The young woman was remarkably warm and friendly, by the say.) My pork was very tasty medallions--lean and perfectly prepared, accompanied by white asparagrass (lots) and potatoes. The (included) salad bar with several offerings in addition to greens made it a perfect meal. (Cucumber salad, sweet kraut, pickles were among the offerings.) The restaurant itself is charming, with off-street parking that was plenty when we arrived but full when we left. We did not have dessert but saw a remarkable piled-high strawberry sunday being delivered to the next table and were very tempted.
