Banja Luka (Serbian Cyrillic: Бања Лука, pronounced [bǎɲa lǔːka]), or Banjaluka (Serbian Cyrillic: Бањалука), is the largest city and the de facto capital of the Republika Srpska entity and the second-largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the capital Sarajevo. Traditionally, it has been the centre of the Bosanska Krajina region, located in the northwestern part of the country. It is home of the University of Banja Luka as well as numerous state and entity institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The city lies on the River Vrbas and is well known in the countries of the former Yugoslavia for being full of tree-lined avenues, boulevards, gardens and parks. According to the 2013 census, Banja Luka has 199,191 inhabitants.

If you don't have much time but still want to have a good meal while in Banja Luka Pizza Cat is definitely place for that. They have pizzas, pasta, sandwiches, salads, etc. It is affordable and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located not far from the "shopping mall" Boska so it is quite easy to find it. I ate in several places in Banja Luka and this is definitely place I would eat again at.

This establishment combines a café bar with a restaurant and provides a good menu with plenty of choice. If your Serbian is as limited as mine you will be glad of the helpful waiters who translated for us and made great recommendations. Well presented meals and right size portions.

Lively, clean and nice pizzeria. Good location. The menu has large assortment, both food and drinks. Lots of options to choose from. The service is very good. The staff is attentive and friendly. We came for dinner, on a Saturday. The place was full. Everything we ordered came quickly. It was tasty. We enjoyed it. Worth a visit.

This is a very nice restaurant with variety of food. Chinese to European.Service is good. Restaurant has nice outside at the Vrbas river bank.The only improvement they should work on is new air conditioning as these days temperature was 35+ degrees.

I had lunch with large group of my friends. Staff is very well trained and helpful. All the drink and food orders were served very quickly regarding how many people were being served. This place is famous for its pizzas, but on this occasion I had melanzzane parmiggiana and the dish was extremely tasty, flavorful - true comfort food. Atmosphere is laid back, yet organized, so you can concentrate on enjoying yourself. Decor is also nice, there are high celing, so even though smoking is permitted it isn't a big problem. Everthin is very clean. I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Banja Luka.
