Was here with family. Atmosphere ok. Starter and drinks ok.Looked it would be a good evening, one not to forget and finally it was one not to forget but in a bad way!Then ... main dish.Steak flambé saignant (bloody). Clearly said time and time again bloody, not medium rare or so... No problem sir.After waiting like what looked a day finally my steak.Where is the bloody? Flambé ? It was at least medium rare... And flambé? Most likely not..' Flambé they should to it in front of you but they did not.So we tell them steak is overdone and they start arguing that it is perfect and bloody ... Say what? We are customers and I like to be treated like one. Everyone can make a mistake and overdo the steak but then just take it back and make another one.Next to that the taste was not good neither ....Is this the worst steak I ever had ever? Probably!So avoid this if u like real Meat! I changed my review from 2* to 1* because as soon as I said the steak was uneatable they cut internet!

In spite of the name, Russian owned and Russian / Ossetian cuisine, plus wonderful (very cheap - they brew it themselves!) beer. Delicious food, immaculately clean, great staff and service, and a great atmosphere when busy, a peaceful spot away from the madding crowd when not. With family in Vladikavkaz I have visited many times and never been disappointed.

... for meeting up, celebrating, having a delicious lunch or dinner or even just watching the passing crowd (and old world trams) pass by. The illustrated menu is mouth watering and is in Russian and English. I have been here many times as our family live close by. The wonderful staff are welcoming, quick to serve and very helpful. Families have an added advantage in that there is a discreet childrens' room where they can play or even on occasions be taught handicrafts while the adults can enjoy a meal and conversation. There are too many tasty dishes to recommend just one, it's all wonderful.
