We love Ayda's! My friends & I meet weekly for lunch. Good food & great service! They moved from a prior location with little parking & now is ideally located for working people in downtown Rensselaer. Plenty of seating for a restaurant in a small town.

We stopped in for the "All you can eat" Fish Fry. Enough food on the first serving to fill you up. Salad, rolls and fish and fries for $13.99. Fish was excellent. No Sr. discounts here.

We were traveling north one morning on I-65 with friends when we decided breakfast was called for. Our initial choice was McDonalds, but the Egg McMuffin enthusiasm was somewhat lacking. So I fired up the tripadvisor app and found this place. We were warmly greeted by Kathy, the "attack waitress" and we soon had a good home cooked breakfast on our table. We were too late for gravy, but didn't miss it. The ham and eggs were wonderful and the atmosphere and service were delightful. This is definitely on the "return to" list.

We were heading north towards Chicago and decided to stop for gas and a snack. McDonald's was very easy to access from I-65. The restaurant (including restrooms) was clean and well-kept. The menu and prices are strictly consistent with McDonald's. There is plenty of parking and there is a dual lane drive-thru. The staff was quite friendly and very efficient.

Traveling with a group of friends, Rensselaer, IN was a convenient stop on our journey. Staff at the hotel recommended the Embers Venue and "The Station" as a good place to relax, refresh, and dine out. We were not disappointed. Options included a nice variety of individual sized pizzas baked in a wood fired oven, deluxe gourmet sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. The house made salsa with chips was particularly good. Service was very good, staff friendly, prices fair. Beverages include the usual soft drinks and a large selection of craft beers. The one "ding" is that there were no beers on tap, all were served from cans. Overall, definitely worth stopping and enjoying.

The quest for a good restaurant in Rensselaer is tough. We stopped here only because it was about the only restaurant that was open at 7:30 in the evening. It was very clean and the food was very good. The owners were very nice and we were impressed. Will definitely go here again.

Arby's has always had great roast beef sandwiches, but now with their extended menu it has gotten even better. We eat there about twice a month. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. Newly remodeled restaurant is always kept neat and clean. It is very enjoyable.

... to try something you normally wouldn't find at other places!
We were in town to see a Marching Band Festival and were looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't 'fast food' variety. I always hit up TripAdvisor!!
We weren't disappointed by the reviews we found here. It looks like a dive and if you're expecting big and luxurious, keep looking. but I've got to tell you -- what it lacks in atmosphere, it sure made up for in variety and taste. We had the elk and the bison burgers. Generous portions and the fries were amazing. The service was fast and pleasant. It's a home-town place that I'd suggest to visitors because they make everyone feel welcome! Might be off the beaten path, but well worth the time to find it!!
Keep in mind, it's a bar and it's NOT a Smoke-FREE zone. That didn't stop me from trying it and we would suggest it to all to give it a shot!!

The window still decorated for Christmas several weeks after Christmas had past, was not too inviting for the small, nondescript pub on the county square on a dark, cold evening. So the salad bar with lots of offerings--including homemade breads and a variety of desserts-- was a pleasant surprise. And it was all very good. When I went again for lunch the following day, the items on the salad bar had changed. It, too, very very good. I'm glad to provide a recommendation to the Office Pub even though the service was only so-so.

For a somewhat fast food restaurant they were very slow due to the fact they were very understaffed.
I had the buffet and it was pretty good. They were running low on food but did replace it right after I paid. The place was not very clean.
