We dined late on Saturday. The nightly specials had expired already. We both had the chicken fried steak. It was served with gravy on top of mashed potatoes with a roll, and some sauteed zucchini and squash.
It was okay. The virtually identical portions suggested that the entree came out of a bag. We were hungry, so we ate it all, but I wouldn't order this again.
The server was competent. The decor is typical for an upper Midwestern casino restaurant.

We all had a real hankering for an ice cream. Have always loved Dairy Queen's chocolate dip cones. I don't believe in all of my years indulging in them have I been disappointed. When we walked in- I could not believe how grimy and just plain dirty this place was. This includes everything in the place from the windows, floors, equipment etc. scary. Will never visit this Dairy Drudgery again.

Me and a buddy stopped by for Dinner on a Saturday Night around 7:15 and it was pretty busy but not packed completely packed. Log Cabin Decorated as you would expect, cozy. Had a decent dinner, nothing fancy. It looks like a pretty popular place for Saturday Night Steak. I don't think they take reservations so you might want to get there early or late to be seated right away, or just plan on having a cocktail or two at the bar before you are able to be seated it which isn't such a bad idea. I would say the menu is mostly Home-style cooking so the portions are good and the gravy/sauces are a little heavy, but some lighter dishes and options are available. Of course plenty of Fish options are available, Walleye and such. Mid Range pricing, families and children welcome. Nightly Specials as 06/01/2017 include Sunday: All you can eat BBQ Pork Ribs with all of the fixings. $15.00, Monday: ½ price meals for any active or veteran member of the military and one guest, Tuesday: Buy one Mexican entrée and get the second at half price, Wednesday: 14 oz Hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions with your choice of potato and breadstick. $16.00, Thursday: Walleye with your choice of potato and breadstick. $17.00, Friday and Saturday: Prime Rib King $25.00 – Queen $21.00. Weekday Hours - 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. Weekends 11:00 am - 11:00 pm.

We were directed here by our motel and the food was fantastic with ample portions. The margarita was HUGE - and good!

This restaurant should be packed every night. My husband and I went with another couple. Three different meals were ordered and each was exquisite. The presentation was first class-so beautiful. The flavors were amazing. Each couple shared a dessert and they were equally tasteful and beautiful. The service was excellent. This was fine dining at a very reasonable price.

Country Kitchen is one of those chains for which one seldom has high expectations. Well, the Country Kitchen in Redwood Falls has changed that for me. Returning from the State Girl's Basketball Tournament with my son, we decided that any greasy spoon would do. We swung and missed. The Sunday brunch was outstanding, the service was spotless, and the smiles are still on our faces.

Single handedly the worst buffet of my life. I have eaten in plenty of cheap casinos and even truckstops, and this buffet is truly god-awful. 1 - They are asking for huge food safety concerns in not serving HOT food HOT. Everything was lukewarm or cold. Was it ever heated thoroughly? 2 - There was food spilled all over the surfaces and into other dishes. 3 - Very limited selection and obviously frozen food items, nothing made on site aside from maybe the mystery meat pasta salad. Also mislabeled food could be an allergy concern for some - salmon was actually a white fish floating in liquid. Tartar sauce was not tartar. etc. 4 - Prime rib that was the color of old ham and had the texture of a shoe... definitely not beef - when we asked the carver what the meat really was he said "horse meat" and then "buffalo" - later on he saw us walking past the restaurant and pointed to us saying "She thinks we serve horse meat!" We asked for our money back and are still awaiting a call back from "customer service" since the buffet supervisor said she couldn't do anything for us!

I grew up in Redwood Falls and this was a very nice childhood food experience. We used to walk or ride out bikes from the public swimming pool on the hill down to the Dari King. My classmate, Spencer Brakken's, family owned this place.
This is honest to goodness mom and pop food; recipes passed down for generation. You park and then walk into the very small vestibule and order at one of the two small windows. You pay and then just stand there and wait for them to look at you (no number to call or name, they just know your face from the order) and tell you, "here is your order".
I got a child hood trio - a "barbeque", which is really their form of a sloppy joe, on a local bakery hamburger bun; a chili dog, which is a hot dog, with the same meat mixture as above over the dog on a bakery hot dog bun; and then a hot fudge shake. The food (like music or a certain smell) brought me back to summer 1968, a warm, comforting feeling from food that is lovingly made.
No frills here, just darn good food in a small town. They are only open for the short summer season.

Was here on business and went with a co-worker. Stayed at the Redwood Lodge across the street. We went on a Monday night, granted a slow time so maybe it was just a so-so night, but wasn't overly impressed. The burgers were good, as were the steak fries, but seemed more like a pub than a restaurant; the woman bartender was the sole server, and served the whole room the night we were there in addition to the bar; I guess a slow night. Probably better and busier for lunch and on weekends. The beer selection was not that great considering it's a beer and burger place; there were three or four drafts and some bottles, but no pale ales, IPAs, Michelob Ultra or other popular beers. We settled for the local draft, which was ok, but not that great.
Overall was an ok meal (burgers and fries were good) with a couple inexpensive beers, but not the greatest place in town, and left still feeling hungry. Maybe should have gotten the pound burger instead!

If you're looking for a place to eat while in Redwood Falls, MN it's worth a stop to not only enjoy a salad bar, have pizza, great chicken, and a great variety of dessert pizza you've found it! There was plenty of seating and delivers service with a smile. If they don't have the pizza you're looking for on the pizza line, just let them know and they'll bring it to your table. They'll definately keep you coming back! They're in the process of doing some remodeling but don't let that hold you back...
