Lustigsgården is a family owned B&B in Swedish traditional red wooden buildings, just 15 minutes walk from Rättvik town centre. It is located in the heart of Dalarna in a quiet area and has a wonderful view over Lake Siljan. We offer 14 modern rooms, all personal and individual decorated with a mix of recycled and modern furnitures and with local details from Dalarna. Here you have free WiFi and a garden with patio and BBQ area. Every day we serve a breakfast buffet with local and ecological options. For lunch and dinner staff can offer tips on nice local restaurants. There are a lot of options close by. There is a lot of things to see and do in the area. Bicycle rentals are possible at Lustigsgården and cross-country skiing, hiking and bike trails are found just around the corner. A sandy beach by lake Siljan with a playground is within 20 minutes walk from the property and Rättvik Golf Club is 5 minutes drive away. Hope to see you here soon! Kind regards Ulrica and Niclas
Great service & location
Reviewed By unixoidalWe e stayed for a week with small child. The personnel provided as with a separate small bed for kid. Because of covid-19 the breakfast was prepared and served individually for each family or couple. There is a possibility for guests to prepare coffee or tea, use microwave, dishes and dining hall for lunch or dinner. That was a pleasure to stay there because personnel was friendly and helpful. The parking is conveniently arranged on either side of the main building. The hotel is locatied on the hill which is very good in terms of beautiful views (from some rooms) and reaching the downtown Rättvik, restaurants as well as highway 70. The wifi was free, had good speed and stable connection. One down side was that bathroom was lacking an electrical socket and proper ventilation. Perhaps, the owners shall invest a little to fix it.

Hotell Rättvik is located right in the heart of Rättvik. Just next to the well-known long bridge that runs out into Siljan and Rättviks Station you live comfortably and centrally. Sleep well in our nice hotel rooms and are good at our American 50's Diner where you also served a dignified American breakfast.
Wedding trip
Reviewed By stacy BWe book this hotell along with few friends for a wedding event ! we wanted a place close to the Bride’s parents home. Didn’t have any expectations but turned out real nice, we got the family room with 1 king and 1 pulled out in a adjacent room. Like that of a joining room, 1 bathroom yet feels big enough for 3 adult. Breakfast was included, iron, hair dryer, self shoe shining inside staircase. It’s lobby has a classic car as a booth, nice customer service, late checkout ok if they have the room( we asked since our train don’t leave till 3pm). Food was good, breakfast decent, rooms are new.

Walking distance, through a beautiful neighborhood, to reach village center. We can give the best of recommendations - This is a place to enjoy and relax!

Very helpful and friendly staff
Reviewed By Guðmundur JStayed here in July 2018 and it was very good. The staff is extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit old style but very clean with comfortable beds and that are the most important things. I really reccommend this place if you are looking for a stay in this area.

Comfortable and quiet
Reviewed By fanoffranceThis is a very pleasant place to spend the night. The beds are comfortable and the location is very quiet, even though it's only a couple of minutes by car to downtown. Some rooms have a grand view of the lake, some face the quaint back garden, while yet others overlook the gravel parking lot with its adjoining wildflowers. In all cases you have plenty of fresh air and can look forward to a good breakfast (unfortunately without pastries or sweets). Many of the rooms are old-fashioned and the floors creak, but I prefer that to most modern hotels. The lobby area is charming and interesting. Don't miss having dinner in the wonderful restaurant (reviewed separately)!

Very friendly staff
Reviewed By NanddhWe checked into this hostel before we realised there was an annual classic car festival going on in Rattvik. The grounds are located around farmland with lovely views. The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Our room and the common spaces were clean and provided everything you’d need in a hostel. When we realised the festival was going on in Rattvik, we decided to stay in Mora instead to avoid the crowds. The owner was very understanding and even refunded us over half of the accommodation cost as well as the cost for the sheets and towels we initially rented. Would definitely suggest staying here if you’re looking for a friendly hostel or if you are keen to attend the annual car festival in late July/ early Aug!!
