Kunlin Restaurant Ranong Seafood Hot Spring Thaifood Freshcoffee
We had a one-night stay in Ranong recently and was looking for some food and was recommended by the locals to try out this restaurant which is just across the Raksawarin Hot Springs of Ranong. The decor of the restaurant is pretty creative with many "famous" characters including Bumble-bee, Iron-man, Marilyn Monroe, and etc.We find the menu is rather limited and a little pricier than the other restaurants that we have been to in Thailand. However, the food was good and service is always with a smile.Plus point about this restaurant is you can just walk across the street and into the famous Raksawarin hot springs.

Wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sunset over Burma. The seafood here is always fresh and the service efficient. They now have extensive under cover seating as well as the open seating around the seafront. Local beer is good but the imported stuff is a bit pricey.
Attended this lovely riverside restaurant situated on the Thai Myanmar border at sunset for an evening meal with other tour participants in our epic Bangkok to Phuket by Bicycle trip with Amazing Bike tours. Our Host Wan, who is Thai ordered what can only be described as a magnificent Thai seafood feast, which was expertly cooked to perfection. The wait staff were attentive and so were the mosquitos, but the staff attended to that promptly with mosquito coils. The ambience at this restaurant as the sun set was fantastic. This restaurant is an approximately 20 minute drive from the centnter of Ranong, it would be hard to find for a non local, but if you can find it, the trip is certainly worth it.
I had the chance to have dinner at Khun Lin Restaurant, and I had a splendid time here. My colleagues and I had the chance to talk to the owner, who was incredibly nice and accommodating. Even though he spoke little English, we could all tell that he tried his best to communicate with us and explained each dish in detail. The Baegu Leaves Smoothie was to me, very creative and tasted very nice and refreshing. I recommend anyone who wants to eat Southern Thai food to give this restaurant a chance, and you wouldn't be disappointed!

Excellent Ranong-style food close to the city center. We really enjoyed all the food there, especially the fried sand whiting with turmeric (à¸à¸¥à¸²à¸à¸£à¸²à¸¢à¸à¸à¸à¸à¸¡à¸´à¹à¸). Stir fried shrimp with bitter bean and shrimp paste is also really good (สะà¸à¸à¸à¸±à¸à¸à¸°à¸à¸´à¸à¸¸à¹à¸à¸ªà¸).Price is also not expensive.
