I love the chocolate soft serve here, and my husband always enjoys selecting a Gifford hard serve in a sugar cone. Fun to watch the ducks on the pond out back or to peruse the real estate offerings in the windows of the business next door while we are enjoying our treats!

Forks in the Air Mountain Bistro is a Rangeley restaurant celebrating Maine's food and drink at its best. Located on Main Street in Rangeley, Maine, join us for dinner.
Dining options are limited in Rangeley but Forks in the Air could hold its own even in a more competitive restaurant area. Interesting meal options in a very comfortable setting. Both are meal choices were well prepared and delicious[ the haddock was outstanding]. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Reservations highly recommended.

Nice store to visit in this charming little town. They have a nice cafe area and they sell interesting cool staff that make you want to explore the place. It use to be a Pharmacy there and they kept the signs.

We get to Rangeley several times a year, any season, and we always look forward to dinner at Parkside. Different specials every night. Never been disappointed. People are always friendly and accommodating. Nice atmosphere and beautiful view of the lake. Outdoor deck dining on nice days.

BMC features a locals night each Wednesday. This isn't a watered down version of the regular menu. It's full on and such a great deal. Tyler behind the bar is a worker. Keeps things moving while Steve (owner) keeps the whole operation moving. This is...MoreThank you so very much. My Father and I could not do it without our amazing staff! We hope to see you again very soon! ~Tyler~

We have visited the 45th Parallel on 3 occasions now & found the food to be very good. We have had the burgers, salads, Friday clams and chicken finger and fried pickle apps. All have been excellent. The waitresses are friendly and fast. The bartenders make a great cocktail! In sum, we look forward to our next visit.

Loon Lodge Inn and Restaurant on the easterly shore of Rangeley Lake is perfectly situated for spectacular evening sunsets. The lodge, built in 1909, has been meticulously restored and is open to the public offering guest rooms, fine dining, Pub fare, and event planning.
We could not expect a better view, service or food for dinner. Presentation and taste was excellent. Salmon is a good selection as well as the scallops. The blue berry crumble dessert is in a category by it self...order a drink then dessert!!!

A friend recommended this place for a quick breakfast, but it was anything but that. It may have been an off day, but the service was terrible and the breakfast sandwiches were mediocre. After waiting nearly 20 minutes have our order taken, (we sat on the deck and were told someone would get to us as opposed to standing in line to place our order), and then we waited another 15 minutes for our food, only to have been served another couple's sandwiches. When our order was corrected, the food was not hot and very soggy. The self-serve coffee bar was messy and they were out of several flavors (empty containers just left there). We were only visiting the area so won't be able to give it another try...but from our experience, I doubt we woukd ever go back.

Catch up with friends and family in an inviting, historic setting while enjoying a drink, snacks, or dessert. The Rangeley Tavern offers a full bar with high-top seating, as well as a fireside lounge. Grab a friend for a game of chess or bring the whole crew to watch the game!
Taste is the most important experience for me, and this Tavern presented a meal that was a pleasure to indulge. So far, the best lobster I've had in Maine, followed by Thai - inspired mussels. I highly recommend the haddock, which was light, flavoursome and perfect. Nice service too.

Not my review, but found it here: http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/207/1053330/restaurant/Maine/Sarges-Sports-Pub-Grub-Rangeley
My husband and I were hungry after our 5-hour drive to Rangeley, so we asked one of the housekeepers at our hotel for a lunch recommendation. She recommended Sarge's. We walked over and were served quickly by a friendly waitress. Our food--turkey/bacon wraps--was simple fare, but good.
One of the fun things about eating here was being surrounded by AT hikers (one of the trailheads is nearby). They all ate like they hadn't eaten real food in a while, not surprisingly! :)
