An Eclectic Taste Of Mexico. Chef Antonio covers all the bases, deliciously. Everything on the menu is prepared fresh and made to order and the majority of the menu can be prepared gluten free. Because of the flavorful, full-bodied sauces, you will be pleasantly full at the end of your meal accompanied with a fun Margarita like a Jalapeno, Watermelon Margarita. Nothing else like Antonio's Restaurant in beautiful Taos, New Mexico.
I've experienced very good mexican food in many restaurants around the Southwest, but almost always the food is some variation of the standard burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and chimichangas. Antonio's, though, brings a gourmet cooks creativity to the kitchen and makes sauces that sparkle and combines dishes and flavors in ways you have not experienced before if you didn't come here. I had the "Avalanche" Burrito (I think it was called) which mixed chili rellano and creative cheeses into a truly different scrumptious delight.
Thanks Antonio!

While shopping at Coyote, a shop in Taos, asked where we could get the real thing (true New Mexican Food). Told if you don't mind going a few miles out of town we guarantee you'll get the real deal.
Gads is the place good. The owner & his wife greeted us. Asked what was the most popular dish, and that is what I had. The Carne adovada plate, grilled marinated pork with Chile caribe, served with pinto beans, Spanish rice & sopaipilla, which in itself was to die for. The red sauce was just right with the pork. Delicious. The owner took our order, checked on us and was extremely informative concerning the local cuisine. It's right next to the San Francisco de Osis Mission painted by American legend Georgia O'Keefe.
When we first walked up the restaurant, we thought ... oh-oh .... then walked in an experienced the "real deal".

A family run restaurant and bakery in business for the past 37 years and still cooking! A menu of mouth-watering American and Spanish dishes, we serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
The service and atmosphere we’re definitely five stars . The portions of food where large the food was adequate but could’ve been more flavorful . However the overall experience was excellent . I would go back and possibly try some other dishes

I consider myself an espresso connoisseur, after all I'm Cuban, we know our industrial strength coffees.
The espresso I had here today was the best I've ever had. I kid you not !
It was so good I ordered a second double espresso.
The service was excellent !
I wish this coffee house would move to Los Angeles !

Our server, Alfonso, was great with his service, recommendations and tips on attractions to see. I ordered the Chicken Vesuvius, which was wonderful. The restaurant is quaint with local artwork on the walls. Our only complaint was a fly that would not leave us alone, and a cat that walked through the restaurant.

A favorite among locals and tourists alike, Gutiz serves creative Latin-French cuisine at affordable prices.
We stopped here for lunch and we very much enjoyed everything about our meal. Our waitress was attentive and service was quick. All our dishes were just delicious. I selected the andouille dish with eggs, potatoes and salad. My husband selected a dish with mushroom and eggs and he ate every bit of it. They also have delicious desserts and a large variety of truffles. This place is a gem and I strongly recommend it.

O.M.H. Is a historic adobe nestled in the heart of the original Ranchos de Taos. Our fare is a marriage of contemporary, Southwestern flavors with New Mexican cuisine, serving Brunch and Dinner. The Bar has many local and import beers on tap with fine French, Italian, Domestic and Local wines on our list. Check our online calendar for upcoming Live Music shows!
My wife and I ate here twice last month. On our first trip we went early evening and enjoyed their fixed price menu which we found to be an incredible bargain. The second time we simply ordered off the menu. Each experience was great. And the wine selection was excellent.
The building interior and exterior is really beautiful and tastefully decorated. The restaurant is also directly across the street from the beautiful church in Ranchos de Taos and if you ask the staff, they can seat you so that you can watch the beautiful sunset on the church. It's absolutely stunning.
One of the other things that is great is the opportunity to speak with the waitstaff who were all locals. They were absolutely fantastic and did a great job of genuinely making us feel at home and part of the family. For people who don't live in New Mexico, we live in Santa Fe and have found the NM Hispanics to be incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. And this is a big part of the restaurant experience in New Mexico.
Don't miss Old Martina's Hall for happy hour or dinner. And definitely walk across the street to the plaza and church. You won't regret it.

We love the romantic atmosphere here, especially the old adobe and candlelight in the dining room. Our server was welcoming and knowledgeable about menu selections and specials of the day. There were lots of seasonal selections to choose from and a good variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. One of the best meals we've had in Taos to date -- definitely made us want to return.

A delicious blend of traditional Mexican Cuisine and an array of Northern New Mexico favorites.
The wait people were very attentive and efficient. We ordered enchiladas with either red or green sauce and no one was disappointed. I was not that happy with our pitcher of margaritas, however, as the taste was just like any sweet bar mix. I should have ordered wine. A lot of food went out of the kitchen!

Casual dining on the south side located at the Taos Country Club Clubhouse. Offering delicious New Mexican cuisine, great sandwiches, comfort dinner entrees and one of Taos' best burgers. We also offer cold beer, wine and full bar service. Great for special events and large groups as well. 360 degree views of the Taos Valley & Sangre de Cristo Mountains with sunsets that extend southern Colorado as far down as Santa Fe. Join us for a relaxing escape and take in the views at The Terrace at Taos Country Club!
You come to Country Clubs for the activities. Members, especially abutting homeowners, & those playing golf/tennis/whatever also like to have a place to R&R afterward to enjoy good food & adult beverages. Most clubs offer good adult-pops, but really are poor w/dining. Not here!!! Their food, both casual sandwiches/etc, as well as upscale dining, is noteworthy/very nice. Their setting/ambiance/facilities/drop-dead gorgeous views are probably mostly enjoyed to local folks living at/by the club. Why??? It's a haul to get there. The Club is not convenient/close to anyone except those living nearby. Regardless, if you have reason/opportunity, this is a terrific place to dine/unwind/enjoy peaceful, beautiful ambiance & views.
Net/net: their dining/R&R offerings compete with the very best competing local non-club, regular restaurant choices.
