I'm very regretful to write this review but I need to do it. First of all I cannot say that the food is not good, but honestly it's very difficult to find a place when you don't eat well in Italy. However let me explain why I didn't like this place. We ordered 2 "frisa" and "grilled spiedini di pesce" and "lamb grilled". I don't know why but apparently the had some problem with grill and we wait more than 35 minutes for the grilled fish and we had it raw. Completely uncooked and cold. We call the waitress and we waited for another 30 minutes. We had the same fish. Recooked. Definitely awful. Uneatable. We left and the manager didn't want the money. My consideration is: I know. It can happen to everyone that something goes wrong. What I really didn't like is to have raw dishes. It means that you are trying to fooling us. And this is unacceptable.

We visited L'Acchiatura on 4 occasions during our holiday as we absolutely loved it. The restaurant is beautiful, the food typical of Salento and the staff were fantastic. Joseph (Giuseppe) looked after us wonderfully and his English is absolutely fantastic. Perfect for couples, families and groups!

In a little street, crossing an old gate, you walk in a great welcoming atmosphere! It looks like a movie set and its wonderful, with very nice and smiley welcoming u walk in a great location.People are very kind and professional, waitresses young, kind and ready for assisting you.Our waitress was a beautiful girl looking like a young Claudia Cardinale Food quite sophisticated but still typical of this area was delicious and pricing very fare!!You must stop by and see yourself

Everything about this place is ok. I wouldn't recommend, but it's ok if you can't make it to one of the VERY good agriturismos nearby (try San Martino)... ;)

This restaurant is a little hidden in the corner of a road. We came for an ice dream but decided to eat something. Good choice! Maybe my 5 stars are a bit too much. See it as an encouragement. I heard at out campsite (Ar-macaria; check it out!) that there is a new owner. It used not to be too special but we were surprised by the fast and pleasant service and the freshness off the fish. Very good value for money!!

Welcome dear visitor,we are open every day during the summer only, another period we evaluate requests for evenings perticolari or small ceremonies. Our thoughts and to offer a traditional food of a good standard both meat and fish products fresco.Utilizzi
My partner and I have had a great meal at this restaurant. The staff is courteous, the food delicious (shout out for the fancy presentation), but above all else, what won me was the inner garden. Yes, you dine in a orange tree garden. The place is magical to say the least. La Corte degli Aranci should be a must if you are visiting Gallipoli or the Salento area.

We arrived in Racale mid day, before the season and were surprised to find most places closed. Fortunately we found the great restaurant with delicious food, plenty of vegetables. Great service and great food.
Where to eat Seafood food in Torre Suda: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This is a really good bar, with quality and generous cocktails, on the sea at Torre Suda. The restaurant is also really good, the best meal we ate in Puglia in two weeks there. They have no menu, but many daily fish dishes and pasta dishes, with good wine. They also have sun beds you can rent for the day under canopies. If you book for dinner, you can ask to have a table on the lower terrace nearer the sea.

During our one week stay in Racale, we ate here four times. For us it was ok because we could sit outside in nice garden with our kids. The first time we have been surprised because of self service and because we had to fill order form. Also that we had to clean everything at the end. But once we learnt it, it was easy As we have been tired and with kids was impossible to go somewhere in the evening, for us it was simple way to eat tasteful calamari, pommes and fish or pasta. The stuff was kind and friendly. Althought they donât speak English, it was easy and nice. If you one simple and daily fresh food without glamour, then go there. There are many people who simply go there after the beach time. What we donât like is use of plastic, but we realised that in whole region is massive use of plastic. What a pitty!

Found this cliff side restaurant after a very disappointing trek along several of the beaches from Galipoli south. We were looking for a quiet but clean and uncrowded spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a meal! Solatio is the perfect location with sea views and swimming access. The best part was the loungers were super comfortable and FREE! To the shock of us Canadians, other beaches charged up to 40 Euros to sit down and have a drink on a terribly dirty beach. The owner was welcoming and made us feel at home. We ordered drinks and lunch and then took advantage of the wonderful deck and swimming beside the grotto. A totally enjoyable afternoon. We didn't want to leave. :)
