Reviews on Barbecue food in Rabat, Rabat-Sale-Zemmour-Zaer Region, Morocco. Morocco's coastal capital since 1912, Rabat has just over a million people. Modern and even reserved by Moroccan standards, the city also has many fascinating historic sites, including the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas, built in the mid-12th century. The unique Hassan Tower, begun at the end of the 12th century, was meant to have the world's largest minaret, but was never completed. Just opposite the tower lies the 20th-century Mausoleum of Mohammed V, another of the city's main attractions.

This is the second time I visit this resturant, my family loved it last year and asked to visit it again this year. The marination of rotating chicken is amazing. All dishes are well cooked. Highly recommend it.Only they should pay more attention to number of waitress in order to be able to serve customers better. Also table and chairs space it is little crowded there. In last they should fix AC's for hot summer days

I ate at this place last November and i got sick for two days. It was a bad experience. Everything looked good and the service was excellent. I ordered several things. The plates looked good and my plate included fries that were fried in old oil. I had no way of knowing this. I felt it when I reached home. I wonder if Rabat has an inspection bureau to deal with these types of violations. I think the owner should pay attention to this and ensure the food served to customers is healthy. I will not eat at this place again until something is done about it.
Dom Peticos is your Portuguese restaurant in Rabat. Join us and enjoy our traditional portuguese Petiscos (Tapas) and plates. Bom Apetite !
Dom Petiscos qualifies as fancy in Morocco, emphasized by a doorman letting us in who seemingly doubled as a face control/bouncer guy. Which is not neccesarily a bad thing. We ordered tapas and wine, both were excellent: spicy chicken wings, octopus, roast potatoe w herbs, rice, plus some white and red wine. No dress code, just relaxed vibe and normal crowd. If you are up for only a few bites and some wine at a refined eatery (with a little-above-average price range) this is the go-to place in Rabat. Be ready though to smell of cigarette smoke - smoking inside is still a practice.HiWe thank you for your comment and wish to see you soon at Dom Petiscos. Regarding the cigarette smoke we apologize for that, now that the sunny days are back we will be able to open the roof so you can enjoy a clean air atmosphere !Best
