Morocco's coastal capital since 1912, Rabat has just over a million people. Modern and even reserved by Moroccan standards, the city also has many fascinating historic sites, including the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas, built in the mid-12th century. The unique Hassan Tower, begun at the end of the 12th century, was meant to have the world's largest minaret, but was never completed. Just opposite the tower lies the 20th-century Mausoleum of Mohammed V, another of the city's main attractions.

Spacious room in a Riad well situated to visit the medina. Simple, clean and well equipped with toiletries. Our only disappointment was the poor recommendation of ‘Dar Naji’ for dinner, a local restaurant whose details they have registered in QR codes dotted around the Riad. We would recommend avoiding this restaurant for anything other than the staple fresh orange juice and mint tea, and rather follow the well researched Lonely Planet recommendations for food.

A elegantly designed, smartly organized, well run and perfectly located riad with a gracious and smartly attentive staff. We had a chance to meet and chat at length with the owner, Ali Chraibi, who generously lavishes his love of art and graceful living on his riad. He is proud of his creation and we were more pleased & happy to reside there than as any other riad, hotel or Airbnb my wife and I have ever stayed at. And the city of Rabat itself was a great discovery, fascinating and beautiful. We can't recommend this riad and this city more!

The riad itself is not big, but it is in a good location, near the main streets but in a quiet part of it. The staff are really friendly and we had the most amazing dinner in this riad, it was home made by one of the owner! Amazing experience. The staff were really nice and friendly really highly recommended!

This riad with chic, simple design offers 9 rooms inviting you to a journey through Morocco. Each room has its own personality The terrace of Riad Kalaa 2 offers a panoramic view over the rooftops of the medina where you can enjoy the tranquility, colors, fragrances but also the incredible daylight of Rabat. The pool and solarium will provide your customers with unforgettable moments.
A extremely nice Riad tucked away in the medina. The rooms were comfortable and surrounded an inner courtyard. We were on the upper floors - there are many narrow stairs so be warned if this is a problem for you although there are rooms on the ground floor. The inner courtyard is small but large enough to accommodate guests for breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast items were all home made and delicious!

Dar Zen is an invitation to relaxation. It has an ideal location in a very quiet street in the Medina of Rabat, close to the famous rue des Consuls, the beach, the city’s cultural sites, as well as the new Marina. Dar Zen has three deluxe rooms and a communal seating area. The riad also offers a swimming pool located in the patio and two terraces.Wifi connection. Satellite TV in the lounge.
Room was clean and had character. The only thing was it was cold that time of year and the room was not able to be heated. Heaters or underfloor heating would have made this experience perfect hence my reason for 4 stars. However, the service was professional and prompt by staff and its really a quite place. Recommend for solo travellers and couples enjoying a short break away from it all.

Welcome in Dar Mayssane A riad in Rabat's medina, not far away from Bab Laalou and the kasbah of Oudayas. Between tradition and modernity, a peacefull place after the noisy medina. A place where "feeling home" has sense with a staff who provides the best service possible.
We loved this riad. Rabat was on our itinerary only because we needed a night between Chefchaouen and the Casablanca airport. This riad made us want to revisit Rabat on a future trip. The ambiance and level of detail - in both public spaces and extremely elaborate and large rooms - is to die for . The breakfast was lovely and the check in afternoon tea was terrific. The riad's location is perfect for walking along the ocean and seeing all the sites.

Our one day stay at Riad al Maati is wonderful. It is inside a medina and we really experienced something that will be remembered. The riad is cozy and the staff were very nice and hospitable. Would recommend it to friends

Originally, the hotel Oudayas says Transatlantic inaugurated in 1918 by the international company Transatlantic and an integral part of the history of Rabat, it was built as a solid building with an heiress architectural elegance of its past Arab-Andalusian and French protectorate. The design and warm atmosphere will make you live a historical journey in our charming boutique hotel.
You could not ask for a better location in Rabat. On the outskirts of the Médina and across the street from the Casbah. The views from the rooftop (where they serve included breakfast and coffee and tea at night) are simply awesome. For a 3 star hotel (and priced like one, very reasonable), the rooms are great and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
