Food is what you should expect for a donut shop, so it's good. Coffee is hot, and the kolaches are tasty. Only problem, owners hardly know a word of English outside of the names of the donuts...

Do not try to use this Dairy Queen. The cook can not read orders. The food sat in the window until it was cold The drive up window food was served to customers inside and the inside food was served to the customers in the drive up. It took 15 minutes to make a simple Blizzard.
The restroom was filthy for both men and women.

I visited on April 11, 2017, during their soft opening week. They passed a health inspection, but the building renovation was in progress (old doors facing Goode Street were uncovered from the interior wall side). The decor reminded me of restored downtown coffee houses I visited in Garland (Generator Coffee House and Bakery) and Mount Vernon (Watermelon Mills Coffee House). I had the Al Capone latte (vanilla and bourbon flavored syrups) and a raspberry scone. The co-owner, Kelly said blueberry scones would be ready later that day.

So, one of the issues I would have is that we paid $2 more per pound for crawfish. However, it's BYOB! You do the math. Worked out perfectly for us! This is the best dive with the best food and down home atmosphere. Be here or good luck somewhere else.

Have eaten here a couple of times. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times the food was very good. Waiters were very good for lunch, but the waitresses were pretty slow for breakfast and they were out of several items.

Peralta's is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The salsa always has the perfect amount of heat, and the chips are hot and fresh. From chicken-sour cream enchiladas to steak fajitas, everything always tastes great, but here recently the street tacos are a notch above! In addition, the staff is always friendly and professional.

A friend brought us here for lunch. Our entire experience was spot on. The staff was friendly (except one lady behind the front counter was a touch crabby ). Amazing food. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food given! We were full and happy and knocked out some Christmas shopping! Chicken pot pie was superb! I have been in the business for many years and these guys got it right!

Took my Dad and his wife to the restaurant for their 30th anniversary dinner. We were greeted with the snottiest attitude I have ever experienced. The sign said seat yourself and we were immediately told "Don't sit out there" (where the view everyone talks about is). We took a table in the middle of the restaurant and were assaulted by the waitress for our drink order and you could hear her disgust when she returned with the drinks and we hadn't made up our minds about what to order. We were give about 2 minutes and she returned and asked "Have you made up your mind yet"? If my step mother wasn't such a pacifist, we would have left right then and there.
She convinced me to stay because the onion rings were "to die for" so we ordered. When the food came......what a disappointment. First time I have ever had a chicken sandwich where the bun was bigger than the chicken breast. It looked like they took a regular sized breast and cut it in half to make 2 sandwiches out of what was meat for one. The onion rings were so overcooked you couldn't taste the onion. Step moms hamburger was so small it looked like it came from a McDonalds kid meal.
The only good part of the meal was the French fries and the waitress took my plate away before I could finish them. The bill was thrown on the table and we were never even offered dessert.
First and last trip to Oak Ridge Marina!

My friend and I visited the Den on January 20,2018. We expected good quality steak as the Den advertises local handcut steak. Hmmmm, The steaks may be handcut but aren’t all steaks handcut ???? THEY ARE NOT HANDCUT at The restaurant! The NY strip I had was cooked properly but full of gristle. Only a few bites of the 12 oz steak were decent. I had ask for the 12 oz sirloin as advertised but was informed they were out of that steak. ??? This is early Saturday evening..... My friend ordered the sirloin steak salad, which is advertised as a 12 oz sirloin and she received a steak salad with filet on it instead. That may seem like a good deal but here is the problem. I asked the owner why they are out of 12 oz sirloin at $ 14.95 but handcut there own steak and the had 8 oz sirloin available? His response was they could not keep the 12 oz sirloin in stock so they quit ordering it !!!!! Yes that is what the response was..... Now here is the real story...... They were selling a lot of 12oz sirloin at $14.95 and not selling NY strip at $18.95. Most guys eat more than an 8 oz steak so we default to the 12 oz NY Strip when 12 oz Sirloin is unavailable. Keep in mind the 12 oz Sirloin was still published on their website and was still on the restaurant menu for the Steak Salad. Ahhhh , I think they call that deceptive advertising.
The NY Strip was definitely “Select” grade beef and lacked marbling and quality. Not what you would expect from a midrange steakhouse. The dinner side salad was plain mixed greens with a sprinkle of grated cheese and a cherry tomato cut in half....Really ?? That’s all the salad you get with your $ 18.95 dinner . The dinner did come with baked potato , if you wanted anything other than just butter there was a $1.50 upcharge.
I will say that the Steak Salad my friend got was very good and strangely enough that salad only cost $10.95......yet the price of the mystery 12 oz sirloin steak dinner was $14.95!
Obviously when calculating their food cost there were many errors committed and now they are trying to cover the mistakes.
Please dont try to deceive the patrons we are smarter than that!
The restaurant has a very nice ambience and the service was very good. My only comment on the building is the dining area need rugs on the floor and tapestry’s on the wall to help with the acoustics as it is very loud in the dining room.
I hope the owners reevaluate their menu and quit trying to deceive the public. They need to at least serve choice grade beef. If they do they will find their profitability increase as well as their patrons loyalty.
