Samuel and George were amazing. In Costa Maya it's easy to get lost amongst all the different hotels and restaurants that speckle their long stretch of beach. These two guys made it a much less stressful experience. They were straightforward, friendly, and didn't leave us feeling uneasy by getting up in our faces. After surveying the landscape for a spot to enjoy our afternoon we totally knew that Oxtankah was a great choice. We certainly left knowing that this was the place we would return to. Thanks guys!

We were a party of about 15 all spanish speaking. We were persuaded to go into this place because they had a beach with the restaurant. Right away.they showed is different fishes to choose when it came time to eat. When were ready to eat we agreed onrhe price of fishes which came with tortillas, rice, beans and salsa. The food was ok and service was very slow.and the fishes were not what we had agreed. When la cuenta ( bill) came we were very surprised how expensive it was, more than $150 US dollars. We talked to the owner without reaching any good outcome. Sadly to say, I would not go this.place again nor I would recommend it.

Stopped in for lunch while it was raining. Ordered four yard drinks and the sampler platter. Three of the four drinks had a very strange taste and left a strange after taste that lasted a whole day. The sampler platter was priced at $39.00 and consisted of four of each. wings, chicken fingers, cut quesadilla jalapeno poppers fries and guacamole. Not worth the price at all. And food was not very good. You been warned. Travel to the back side of the market. A lot better food.

A full day diving with their neighbors (Buceando Mahahual) we almost always find ourselves resting during the surface interval with a plate of ceviche and afterwards with a few cold brews. Great staff, fast and friendly service at a very reasonable price. Normally closes after the cruise ships depart, but worth a stop in whilst they are open for sure.

What a great meal! Love the location on the boardwalk, so fun to eat excellent fish tacos while people watching! We ordered pico de gallo and chips to start, made super fresh and delicious. Then it was fish tacos for both of us, so delicious we donât share but devour them all. The corn tortillas are so fresh, so light and delicate they are like tender pastry, and the guacamole was made while we waited. Absolutely divine. Our server was Lorenzo, great service, very friendly and helpful. We love eating here!
