We enjoyed our lunch here yesterday. Our taxi driver recommended it and we werenât disappointed. I had the quesadillas with chicken and my husband had the Aztec soup. Both were delicious. We found the service to be great and the prices reasonable. I recommend this place for people who want to get away from the crazy beach scene.

We opened La Rumba to offer a place with true Latin flavor that is free of touristy gimmicks. We love Mexico and the culture of Latin America and aim to share that through food, drink and quality live music. A good day for us is to have a mix of clientele
Not sure what happened, but we used to go there to see Jesus Alejandro Perez one of the best cuban singers anywhere. He is no longer there, so disappointing. Angel is great, but he and Jesus were wonderful together.Hi. We always appreciate reviews, both positive and critical. The critical reviews are great for helping us to make improvements. However, giving a low star review with such a negative title based only on the fact that one musician is no longer present only serves to harm our business and all the hard work we have done to get this far. We adore Jesus and his talent is unquestionable. He currently has other responsibilities in his career and so cannot currently be with us. Angel and the other musicians are top notch and share their music and their love for what they do. It is really a shame to not only write off a place that you once loved but to also feel the need to cause it harm with this kind of unhelpful review.

Really enjoyed my last visit to Palmeras! I remember going here for the first time about 15 years ago and then getting the chance to go again every few years. It hasn't changed a bit and I hope it never does. Great view of the waterfront during the evening. With a lot of cruise ships in port, your view of the water will be obstructed by people and taxis. Something to note.Great staff and great food every time and the live music is nice if you're up for it. I had great fajitas last time so I think this is the best option, but they have lots of great stuff on their menu.Hola James! Thanks for your kind comments, we hope you come back soon to enjoy an amazing night with us!Greetings from the caribbean

We came here on a two day stopover because of hurricane Dorian for lunch the first day. This is our favorite place to eat when going downtown for the day, off the busy street 1/2 block and both of us get out for around $30 US for lunch. Service is excellent along with the food and margaritas, chips and salsa is included at no extra charge where other restaurants charge you, donât be afraid and try this place.
