Find out what Caribbean restaurants to try in Cancun. Sunny Cancun has much more to offer than its party-town reputation might suggest. Plenty of gorgeous, drama-free family resorts cater to folks who want to experience the tropical Yucatan climate. There are significant Mayan ruins here, such as El Rey and the Yamil Lu’um, a crumbling tower of pale gray stone. Learn more about this ancient civilization at the Museo Maya de Cancun. Its unrivalled location and slightly laid-back atmosphere, refreshing to the senses and inspired by the sea, turns Fredâs into the best spot to enjoy the coolness of the tropical paradise that surrounds this location. At Fredâs, the culinary experience is
Nice ambiance. Excellent greeting and service from the moment we walked in the door. We had lobster bisque and oysters Rockefeller, both were amazing. For entrees my wife had the scallop risotto and I had the coconut shrimp. Excellent. Have to comment on having even great restrooms which at some places can ruin the overall experience. Our Westin Lagunamar concierge recommended Fredâs when we asked about best seafood in Cancun. She definitely steered us the right way. Manager stopped by a couple times to check. Our waiter Xavier was super great.Hello tomass1112Thanks a lot for your time to share us your experience. We're happy to know that the attention and food was to your liking, for us it will be a pleasure to see you again.Warm regards.

OK first of, I am a little biased. My wife and I have been going to the property now known as Zilara for over ten years and we really like it. Our favorite restaurant at this premium all-inclusive is Pelikanos. -- There, one can have a delicious dinner while sitting by the see and under the stars. The ambiance , the decor, the sounds of the ocean and the gentle breezes all go together to create the perfect atmosphere for a lovely evning. Add the friendly service and you have a restaurant so good that it's worth going to even if you are not staying at Zilara.

I was walking back to the Royalton Suites Cancun and saw this sign. So when I stopped, one of the servers approached me. I asked him about a few items I noticed. I am so happy I tried it. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp with mashed potatoes and this mango habinero sauce on the side.My server Victoria was amazing. She was very helpful. When my food arrived, the plating was beautiful. The shrimp was light, yet flaky and crunchy. The batter was sweet and the jumbo shrimp seasoned. The potatoes melted in your mouth. I will be back bc the food and service was amazing.Thank you so much for your kind words! we strive for quality in food and service. We´ll be happy to have you back!.

NavÃos is located in Cancun's Hotel Zone prestigiously located on a dock that outlooks our beautiful Caribbean sunset on the lagoon. In this extraordinary setting you'll be able to indulge in the wide variety of culinary Mexican Fusion Seafood Cuisine. Ou
I usually do all the trip planning/place selecting so I was happy to have Suzy decide on dinner tonight to celebrate the conclusion of my "dental tourism." NAVIOS was the perfect pick. Built on piers the place is gorgeous. Seating is also spread throughout the piers so one isn't caught up in any other conversations. Mario, our server, was very attentive, and was supported by fine people whose name we didn't catch. The menu has many nice fusion selections that we haven't seen on other menus here in CanÄun. And the price was what we would pay for any ordinary dinner out back home in NYC. I'd give it six stars, if they'd let me. Tip: Go early enough to watch the sunset, then enjoy your meal into the evening.Good day Lairdkelly! Thank you for choosing us & also thank you for six stars! Our entire team does its best to provide the most memorable experience for you all. We would love to have you and Suzy again, visit soon.
Where to eat American food in Cancun: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Was recommended this restaurant from our hotel âconsigliereâ and was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent, service was fairly attentive and quick. Ambience is definitely lacking though. My biggest complaint is, after coming to Cancun for 10 years, and dining out often, Iâve never had a restaurant ânot âtake American Express. Unfortunately, that was all I ever take out wit me, so you can imagine my embarrassment when I had to take a taxi to my hotel to grab another card. It does not state that anywhere, that AMEX is not taken. NOT COOL!!!!

Isla Shopping Center
Shopping at La Isla Mall in Cancun. Asked the person helping us at the time about a good place for lunch. He promptly walked us out the door and around the corner where he introduced us to Andrew, owner of Baby Lobster. We were seated and orders taken. We both ordered a Margarita. Each was flavorful, potent, and large. They were accompanied by our order of guacamole, chips, and a complimentary brown sauce. Andrew suggested using the brown sauce cautiously. He was right. It was smoked habanero and, in small amounts, delicious. We ordered fried fish tacos and Tacos A la Diablo (shrimp). My wife wanted hers on corn tortillas but they came on flour. She said they would be okay but Andrew wouldnât hear of it. He whisked them away and, in less than a minute, returned with corn tortillas. Once again, knock your socks off delicious. in my opinion, finding the Baby Lobster was like finding a diamond in a coal mine. Try Baby Lobster. It is fun and the food is great.

Went for lunch looking for a relax afternoon, this time sea food, I like the place open air, a big Palapa, no big trills but nice.I was conducted to the table by hostess and then order food to waitress Ana, to start with a test of crab was delicious and spicy two portions, main course was a Veracruz style fish with was well prepared seven with rice, desert was a coconut ice cream served in coconut shell i did order a shot of Kalhua to mix it and was very enjoyable.I noticed that at time waiters disappear so I think this needs to improve, I think this is a big restaurant and needs waiters to the ownership of tables.Hi Hernan, thank you for visit us, we're very glad and of course we're going to work about your opinon, we'll waiting for you, to give you a better experience on your next visit.Thankyou very much and see you soon
