this place is a good looking well designed space with an indoor flowing to outdoor patio, with gardening, vines, open kitchen and bar. it is not your typical cafe restaurant but is a sexy spot which serves creative and tasty dishes and, to our surprise, serves some of the best cocktails we have come across in our colombian travels. lunch "menu ejecutivos" are priced at approx. 8000 pesos but aren't your basic chicken and rice offerings. we had combinations of pork with blackberry sauce, chicken with mushroom sauce, meat balls, veggie lasagna, beet salad, cabbage salad, spinach soup, cream of carrot, and blackberry, mango, papaya, passion fruit juices etc as part of the fixed price menu. vegetarian options available. live music thursday to saturday from 8-10 and the place is busy attracting a loyal local crowd including students and profs. from the university across the street. don't miss it if you are in armenia. an easy place to relax for a couple of hours. good wifi.Thank you so much for you words, was lovely have you both here!!! hope to see you again

Recovering the gastronomic traditions of the "embera indigenous tribe" and black communities of the North Pacific coast of Colombia. Soul food made with fresh ingredients.
First, you need to know everything is ala cart. This can be a very expensive lunch if you are hungry and want a complete meal. The portions are small and more suitable as something for an evening after the movies. I had the mussles with aracacha puree. The puree was cold, very small portion, and the mussles were small and the wine sauce was "raw" (not cooked to burn off the alcohol) and very strong. My companion had the camarones encocada which were cold, though they would be a normal portion, with rice that was also cold. My mussles were hot, however. We ordered juice as soon as we sat down, and it didn't arrive until we finished our meal, and then they forgot to add the sugar to one. Waiting for that replacement was well over 20 minutes. When I addressed these issues with management, they simply said they hoped service would be better when we returned. Why would I return?
Cuchuco, Chuleta Caleña, Ajiaco, and this is only the beginning of the visit. The service is great and the options are endless, you must visit this traditional Colombian food establishment.

Good traditional "pollo a la carreta" and I think everyone who visit the area should try it at least once. The place is nice an welcoming, however they have to improve on service and the place is not very clean. For the once who don't keno what is "pollo a la carreta" it is a chicken cooked with plantain leaves on the oven, very taste and soft.

Winner of "QuindÃo sabor y descanso" award with its traditional "cazuela cuyabra", if you want to enjoy the best typical food and seasoning Rancho Eden restaurant has everything you want.
Rancho Eden is in a crucial round point to get to the Airport, to Armenia or to Calarcá and Bogotá. The setting is charming, cozy and wellcome; and staff more than friendly. The food, typical from that region of Colombia, is good, but not outstanding. Nevertheless, it is an excellent spot to stop for lunch or dinner...

We were looking for a snack before getting into Salento. We stopped here with hesitation as the place was empty. As we walked in we were greeted kindly, then we saw the view from this place, beautiful. We ordered few Colombian snacks like marranitas, arepas, morcilla etc and everything was delicious. The fruit juices were also tasted and fresh. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.
