Lumbre Glamorous Camping is a Glamping Luxury Hotel located in the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes that has been named as World Heritage: the Cocora Valley in Salento, Quindio. Here, you will sleep under millions of stars in rooms designed for you to have a unique experience in direct contact with nature.
This "hotel" is one of those that you always want to go back. My first experience was delightful, second time it was awesome! I called to made a reservation on the go! I was in Cali, driving to this awesome destination (the hotel itself it's a destination) with a group of 9 people not knowing if it was possible to stay in. I just called to the number that I had from my previous stay and on the other end of the line Alejandro answered. I could tell he was a little nervous not knowing if they could arranged what I was asking with little or no time. Probably for the staff my stay was an odyssey, but for me it was another 5 star review. Thank you Pablo and Alejandro for made everything possible.

Entre Ríos is located on a beautiful finca in the intersection of two rivers. The place is fabulous! Tatiana, Felipe and the staff are warm and accommodating. We spent two nights there, did some horseback riding and mountain biking. Overall a great experience!

We stayed a week in the yellow hut behind the main house (the other ones being a blue one, identical to the yellow one, and the big one at the lake), and we enjoyed our stay very much, even though it rained quite a bit while we were there. The hut was very comfortable, and offers a lot of privacy, despite being partially open. It includes a bed room with a king size bed, in which slept the three of us, my husband, myself and our five-year-old daughter, and we all slept very comfortably. It also has a big shower (with hot water), toilet and sink, sockets, and a kitchenette, on which I cooked (largely because getting vegetarian food is a bit difficult in the coffee axis). Córdoba is close, however, so provisions are readily available. Apart from the bed room it has an open living space with a single bed/couch, and a little desk. Dishes, glasses and cutlery are in the Kitchen, and other kitchen utensils can be borrowed from the owner. The kitchen has a big fridge with a freezer compartment. The hut has wireless access throughout (good enough to watch a movie with some loading pauses). Soñarte has a terrace restaurant on top of a mountain, which can be reached within ten minutes through the forest on foot, and the food is very good, but I have to say that it has very limited vegetarian options. Food can be ordered from there without delivery charge to the hut (I recommend the grilled cheese). The stay in the hut includes breakfast, which was always fresh and delicious, and in our case vegetarian (juice, cocoa, arepas, cheese, fruit, butter, eggs). They bring it up to the hut every morning. They also offer self-grown coffee, which tastes very good. The property includes a lake with fish and a cormorant (unfortunately, the lake is not swimmable), several communal areas, a place for birdwatching, and a jacuzzi hut. The jacuzzi is filled for a charge upon request, and I went in with my daughter alone (it`s for six people, actually), which was a bit pricey but great fun. There is also a shallow stream at the entrance to the forest, and my daughter loved hiking upstream in her sandals in the water. One gets to see a lot of animals at Soñarte: there is an incredible variety of spectacular birds, which can be watched without binoculars from the hut, at the feeding area or in the forest. There are many kinds of butterflies as well, besides other fantastic critters I´d never seen before (think of a pink centipede and a multicolor cricket grasshopper). In addition to wildlife, there are about six or eight dogs, all of which are very friendly, and a cat, which tends to come to the hut and sleep in one´s suitcase (and steal food). There are some mosquitoes, so it´s advisable to bring a repellent. The owner Patricia offers hikes around the property, which are very interesting. All staff are very friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and comfortable. Patricia even lent me a book on butterflies of the coffee axis when she saw I was interested. We also mixed up our dates and overstayed one day, which they took with grace and good humor. It`s a great place to stay, and I would definitely like to return in the future.

Just 4 Kms from the town of Quimbaya, Quindio, in the heart of the Colombian coffee region, between Panaca Theme Parks, Park of Cafe and the Arrieros park, is this beautiful property that will become a site you will love. We have 10 spacious and airy rooms with capacity to accommodate up to 40 people, mixed with double beds and cabins for total accommodation of his family. We have a special room for people in wheelchairs, mobility impaired or disabled, specially fitted so that the person can scroll smoothly or obstacles and special fittings in the bathroom and shower.
We stayed here two nights (Friday and Saturday). The finca is well maintained, with a pool, hammocks, lounge chairs and Colombian games. The family who maintains the hotel live on the property. The room was well kept and clean, a bit on the small side. They offer breakfast included and they also serve snacks/small foods in the evening upon request. The finca is located about 1 km off the main road to Montenegro, 3 km away from Quimbaya. Nice stay.

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this amazing hostel on a bike ride. We stopped to see what was with this elegant little farm and what we found was: amazing people (Nelson is as cool as he is kind) and the rooms are fabulous. There are even a few short hikes to waterfalls. There are even a few multi hour hikes around the mountains. Oh and the food was also incredible. A must visit if you want a tranquil down to earth place without all the tourism hitting this valley. Just call up Nelson on WhatsApp and he’ll come get you in Salento w his classic Willy’s Jeep. Valley de Cocora hike is also near by!! Thanks so much for the amazing experience amigos!

My husband, daughter, some friends and I went for a day trip to The Granja Extrema. We travel often to Armenia and wanted to try something new. We so enjoyed riding bikes on the abandoned railroad track that Don Raul restored. Fun, safe, interesting and active! We didn't see any howler monkeys, but they apparently have been sighted at one of the stops we made at a clearing. We also bathed in a river which was perfect on a hot day after biking. When we got back a delicious hot lunch awaited us. Don Raul has champion Paso Fino horses that he shared with us. He explained the history and technique of these amazing animals. Lockers and showers are provided. You can play volleyball, soccer, swim or take a siesta in one of the hammocks. Raul, his wife Doris, Marcella his sister, Marcella the receptionist, Vanesa their niece and the whole staff were so warm and hospitable. You get a lot for the very reasonable price of admission. We'll for sure be back!!!
