We are constant regulars here! Caterin is the owner, chef, and she welcomes you with a big smile, followed by the absolute best Southern Italian cooking. The menu is impressive indeed and any selection will be scrumptious! The thin crust New York style Pizzas are wonderfully light and all possible toppings are available to design your own pies just your way! Everyone is blown away, eyes squinting with pleasure, as we carefully bite into and taste our piping hot first slice!Really!! It is that good! Tell Caterin that Rick sent you!Caterin recently relocated about 200 meters down the highway from her first location, on the same side of the road. Look for the big royal blue sign across the entire front of the restaurant. You can't miss it and please do not. Great food is hard to find!Caterin loves dogs, so well-behaved dogs are welcome. WIFI is free and fast.

We are the first italian food restaurant stablished in Tequisquiapan.Since 2000 we are the best restaurant, offering always quality, taste and warmth. It is genuine ,traditional food prepared at the moment. It's like you are tasting a little bit of Italy
Well... this food hasn´t to do anything with real italian food, neither with homemade food. My friend and I just ate Pasta, she with tomato sauce and me with creamy salmon sauce and a "homemade tiramisu". Her Pasta was with a transparent tomato sauce, probably out of instant powder or a jar. I mean it neither wasn´t tomato puree because of the flavor, consistency and appearance with (very) cheap and low quality sausage :D well my creamy sauce... I rather now if there was any cream in there at least the flavor and appearance was like instant powder with dried herbs. 2 hours later I still had a very strong Garlic-Granulate-powder in my mouth. The point is I know how to cook and have been eating a lot of Italian food but that was the taste of a school cafeteria. And it´s really not so difficult to do a sauce out of tomato puree, onions, garlic and basil OR onions, garlic, parmesan cheese, herbs and white whine ^^ Even though the cook claimed he was from Venice^^ I also have been in Italy and never had such a bad sauce. I was asking if the Tiramisu was homemade, the service answered yes; but it was made of instant pudding with some cookies. And I also know how to do Tiramisu^^ Even though there isn´t any mascapone available they could do it with cream, vanilla beans and gelantine. The service was quiet nice, the atmosphere ok as well; and the Pasta "al dente".Ofcourse I remember you! germans right? your good effort spanish was difficult to understand and it was a misunderstandig with the waiter who thought that you just asked about if the Amatriciana sauce was spicy or not but you were really ordering it and it came really late... and personaly I think this is the reason of your opinion. It is a shame that you base our quality and prestige in a problem with a language barrier. For us is imposible to use instant powder, cream, tomatos, and all the instant stuff you supposed we used to cook, first of all because those things are impossible to purchase in Mexico, they just don't exist here! But the most important thing is that we've been hardly working for 16 years and the success of our plates is precisely that everything is natural and homemade as you can see in the next opinions. The very strong garlic flavor was caused by fine chopped garlic, not granulate powder. For someone who knows how to cook making a tiramisu with vanilla and gelatine is unthinkable, our tiramisu is a true homemade one using authentic mascarpone. Finallly I remember myself, and my husband the italian chef, going to your table and apologized for the inconvenience of the delay, and asking if everything was fine and your answer was always YES! And sorry, but for someone who didn't like the dinner, asking also for dessert and leaving the dishes almost clean is a little bit incongruous, don't you think? Once again, my apologies for the delay of your pasta.

We loved our food (salad, pasta and pizza). My wife complained the pizza topping was scarce, but she absolutely loved her salad. I enjoyed my pesto pasta very much, and the flavour of the pizza was 100% italian. The service was good, but it was a weekday and we were the only table. We were happy about the experience, and we will be going back.

Hawaiian pizza was delicious and with generous toppings. Crust is so thin that when ordered to go it tends to get limp towards the middle. That is not to fault the quality of the taste..but a consideration for anyone wishing not to dine on location. Small area for seating inside. Very popular on weekends, so arrive early or be prepared to take it to go! (Cook time approximately 30 mins)Excellent quality and taste requires trying the entire menu through multiple visits!

These pizzas are tasty and original cooked in a stone oven using gas. The toppings are generous and the doe is slim. Probably one of the best in Tequis. If you are a pizza purist you will be annoyed by the fact that they don't use mozzarella and the doe isn't exactly the Italian taste. Still, one of the best in town. Thanks a lot for your opinion, it is very important for us. Come back soon.

A few minutes from downtown (Cathedral) Tequisquiapan, you can find this small coffee shop, your nose can probably guide you once you get closer. The bread and desserts, home made of course, are delicious, and to top that, one of the best places in town for espresso, cappuccino, cafe con leche, plain American coffee and/or a variety of hot and cold teas. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your coffee you can ask to talk to the owner and he'll make sure you get exactly what you want. He'll guide you through the flavor, roast balance map so that you get what you want. Service is good, it may be slow sometimes, but very personal. Some afternoons you may be able to listen to a local guitar player, and either he may be playing for the audience or he may be teaching the owner's daughter guitar lessons, in any case, you'll enjoy a great and relaxing atmosphere.
