Our restaurant operates seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Patrons can dine inside the hotel or take advantage of our fantastic climate and dine in the beer garden or the Bali huts. Our wide menu offers something for the entire family & our daily spe
We stopped by to hear the live music & have a couple of cold drinks. Service was friendly & very helpful. A great relaxed feeling with this hotel, sitting outside in the warmth under the huge tree listening to some entertainment. Well worth a visit, had a thoroughly good time here. Thank you for visiting us, we are pleased you enjoyed your afternoon.

Welcome to The Waves Sports Club's Rock Salt Bistro, the best Bundaberg dining option for the entire family! Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Rock Salt Bistro is perfect dining venue for anything from delicious a' la carte and children's meals
We went back to dine at Rock Salt Bar and Grill at the Waves Club as we had enjoyed it so much last time. Unfortunately we were disappointed this time. Dont get me wrong.....the food was extremely good and good sized meals at that. The atmosphere was so bad with kids running and screaming in the dining room. I even had one yelling down on the ground by my feet ! There should be more control in such an environment either by the parents or the staff. Also we could hear the hand dryer in the toilets - it was loud ! So overall not a good atmosphere. As I said before the food was extremely good. We would prefer Brothers any day of the week ! Just being truthful......that is what reviews are all about.Hello Businesstrip66,Thank you for your review and your honesty. If we're never told about areas we can improve on, we'll never know.We apologise for your experience with atmosphere. We pride ourselves on, and heavily promote being child friendly. We have an award winning playground, iPads, a parent's room, and retro video games, all for kids to enjoy. This does mean that during Friday and Saturday nights we are very busy with customers with children. What we would also like to bring to your attention is that Rock Salt Bistro is a bistro and not a restaurant, and so these kinds of family activities are welcome. In saying that, we certainly don't wish for complete chaos like you've described. Our suggestion would definitely be to visit us next time from Sunday to Thursday. These days tend to be a little more relaxed and a little less busy. This way you get to enjoy our delicious food while enjoying a quieter atmosphere. Thank you for your feedback. We will certainly raise your concerns with our Catering Manager. -The Waves Team.

This place is what it is. Solid pub fare, no fancy stuff. My partner had a chicken schnitz and I had the pork belly with noodles. Both were pretty tasty. Typical pub wines. A plain and wholesome pub night out.

Today we chose Red Emperor with salad and chips ($13) and Fetticine Carbonara ($9) from the bar menu and enjoyed every mouthful. The fish was cooked to perfection and the salad was delicious. Chips were good although oversalted for me. A generous bowl of fetticine carbonara was also lovely and excellent value at $9.The bar menu has a good variety of food - pork chops, schnitzel, rump steak, sandwiches, wedges, calamari and more - nothing over $13.Apparently there is a new chef who has been there since Christmas - Robbie. He's doing a fantastic job and the locals are happy. Will definitely be back.

Blackboard advert on building "seniors lunch" $10.00. Thought we'd give it a go. Once seated only 2 meals available at this price. Not what we liked, so had to go next level (about $13.00each), but the steak I ordered was the smallest piece of meat I'd ever seen served, my husband's meal was 2 fish finger looking pieces of fish..sorely disappointed although in saying this meal was well cooked

The meals here are excellent. The steak is delicious. Is pub style dining but very pleasant and the atmosphere is great. Was great for a large work gathering and something everyone on the menu.

Located in the CBD with a relatively modern interior. Friendly staff and fast service. Even though they were packed for a Tuesday lunch, meals only took half a beer, time wise. I was wondering what our $12 specials would be like. We were not disappointed in the least, the crispy Barra burger and chips was great, Iâm told. My prawns, calamari, chips and salad were equally as good. Good portion sizes, quality food and for only $12 each, sensational value. Will definitely return, maybe even tomorrow

They say they have the BEST steaks in town !And they do !!!!! The Club Hotel is renowned for their great steaks. It is fabulous for a lunch time meal. We went on a Wednesday for lunch and you get a LUMP OF RUMP for $12 which is extremely well priced. Each
A well structured dining experience in what appeared a busy pub for a Thursday evening. Indoor/outdoor seating, specialises in steaks but quite a broad menu. The kitchen is open plan and the chefs were very efficient and productive. The staff were all efficient from taking orders, delivering meals and clearing tables for the next customers. Huge servings. Good value.
