This restaurant is quite large and heavily decorated in golds, reds, a variety of wallpapers and patterns - different to most but certainly not dull. We shared sesame toast and steamed dim sims between us for entrees. As all four in our group were having short soup, our waitress suggested ordering a tureen to divide between us, which was meant to be equivalent to three servings but was plenty for us all. My sister in-law and her husband chose lamb with ginger and shallots for their main meal and hubby and I had beef fillets with pepper, which was very tasty. We had plenty of fried rice and all really enjoyed our meals.

We stopped in for a meal, while walking along Flinders Street.Friendly greeting when entered, shown to a table and presented with water / glasses with out asking. We ordered starters while we decided on what to eat, the staff were great and able to answer questions about the meals and were correct about what was presented. The meal was good, lots of flavour, the Thai curry was good, not spicy for my taste but still very good. the fried rice was very nice.This place is worth stopping in for a meal. they do also have a take away selection as well.

The food is exceptional with some tantalizing dishes that are superb the only downside however is their drink prices are exorbitant. The staff are friendly and do engage with you in your meal selection and are ready to assist you. There is always plenty of food in each dish and you never go hungry. One of my favourite restaurants in Townsville.

Welcomed by friendly waitress and minimal wait time for service, not really a romantic venue but comfortable and clean.The kitchen is on view and seemed well organized with our meals coming out to the table in reasonable time although not at the same time. it seems hard to find a good Chinese in town so was pleasantly surprised on the night we went anyway.

Let's start by saying you are not going here for atmosphere or ambience, but if you want beautiful food then can I recommend Mr Young. We had a barramundi dish,steak & chicken mains were spot on. BYO makes the night even more affordable which is a bonus.
