Has the birthday dinner at Serranos for my son. He has been looking at it for some time. Well, what can i say? Large, tasty meals and great atmosphere. Few mexican beers topped a great experience. Have found the service here very good as well as the cocktails. Unfortunately the flavours are not authentic and really not intense enough in the food. Little touches are overlooked, like warming the corn chips for example. This seems to be the same story across all the Burrito Bars sadly.

Went here late today, Sunday afternoon, early dinner. Not very busy at 5.30pm, no table service, order at the counter, which I don't like doing but anyway!!!! Didn't have to wait too long for the Wings to be served, not hot, just warm would be the best you could say. My Chilli Con Carne arrived and same, just warm, at best, tasty enough if you like it not hot! Our other dish, chicken burrito's served, cold again and basically a sloppy mess. So a very disappointing first visit to Burrito Bar, and we'll definitely NOT RETURN. Not the cheapest Mexican around either, so the best part of this dinner was the not so cold beer we ordered. All in all, they got it all wrong.....not hot food and not cold beer.This place could be so much better, if they had the right staff in place.Hi Perry W. Have dined at various GYG stores. First time at Loganholme. Service was quick. Food took only 3-4 minutes to arrive. Restaurant has clean and tidy and has nice creative touches to the decor making it a nice space to sit and dine in.I really like the ‘like plastic eco cutlery’ that can be recycled and cardboard type plates at GYG. Eventually more dining options will catch on and move in this direction I hope.Great value with lots of flavour options. Consistent to other GYGs I’ve been too. Will be back.
