Last minute decision for an Italian dinner! The pasta was al dente and perfectly cooked. The mushroom pasta just needed a touch more salt or cheese but was other wise delicious. The chicken pate was amazing. The veal entrée (with mayo, tuna etc) was alright but I was expecting more flavour. Service was great at the start, but as the night got busier we were waiting longer and longer for food. All up I think we spent 2 hours there - mainly waiting for our food to come out... If you are ok with eating early, get there before it gets too hectic!

Recently had a Saturday night birthday dinner family celebration there. We have recently spent a week in Tuscany and the food, wine, service and ambience brought back so many happy memories. Not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - an unforgettable dining experience with engaging, obliging and knowledgeable wait staff and mouth watering food. A special place for a special occasion, and the birthday boy received a complementary drink and treat. Classy.

Putia Pure Food Kitchen is a restaurant, pantry and cooking school. Putia, meaning corner store in Sicilian, is a rustic alfresco restaurant with a focus on creating pure taste sensations using fresh, quality, locally sourced and sustainable produce.
$64 For breakfast is way over priced.Coffee and food were good but not worth $$$. Very inconsistent with serving sizes between meals. Big breakfast good size for $ but eggs Benedict at $24 For 1 slice of bread, avo and 2 eggs left husband hungry. Also said more like a white sauce rather than hollandaise. Most disappointing though is that having an allergy menu becomes very restrictive when they won't allow substitution. But happy to remove $8 item and add $4 and charge for addition still. I understand not allowing substitution all the time but allergies already make my dining experience difficult. So due to this won't be back. It's obviously busy and won't miss my patronage but warning to others you may leave disappointed. Dear OpinionATThank you for your review. You are quite right, there is a difference in size between the BIG Breakfast and the Putia benedict due to the different ingredients in each dish. The big breakfast is the most substantial mean on the menu. Many of our customers tell us that they have allergies and our staff talk to them about menu options that might work for them. I appreciate the difficulty you may often have in choosing a suitable dish. For this reason, there is a basic menu choice of eggs on toast to which you can then add sides that are agreeable with you. Perhaps that would have worked better for you than the Big breakfast. Having said that, I can assure you that your feedback, e.g in relation to the sauce, is appreciated and has been considered by the kitchen team. regards Dominique

As a bar, cafe and a place to meet for lunch, dinner or after work drinks we have everything you need. We don't like to complicate things, it's all about the freshest ingredients and a place where you can share platters, pizzas, desserts, âand drinks.
The food is locally sourced and reasonably priced. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was good but a bit bland for my taste. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. There was a nice local crowd in the restaurant for lunch and what appeared to be baffles in the ceiling to keep the noise level manageable. I am rounding my rating up to 4 based on the service and the price. Helpful Hint: The restaurant is not immediately on the street. There was a sign on the sidewalk pointing in the direction of the restaurant.

When we decided to open What's in the Pot? our goal was to make people feel at home and to bring back flavor to the table. A flavor that would respect the culinary traditions of our beloved Italian Region: Tuscany Hence What's in the Pot? was born. Our Li
This restaurant is fantastic. Its well run by the managers Carla and Flori. Carla seems to call the shots on the food and Flori looks after the guests. Special mention about Flori, he is welcoming, friendly and a sincere host who takes time to listen and make sure you have a good experience. The young pizza maker was excellent, very attentive and genuinely interested in how the pizza was. Carla was very in the background busy but found time to say hello.Entrée was Caprese Antipasto which was fresh as and plentiful with quality Tomato, Buffalo Mozarella, Prosciutto and Basil. It was SUPERB. Only complaint was it was far to filling for me so I couldn't eat it all.Next to order was pizza. Flori sat down and had a chat to work out what I actually wanted and we decided on HOT salami, ricotta and olives. Again SUPERB.These Pizzas are authentic woodfired. I live for authentic woodfired Pizza and these guys know what they are doing. They have a good range of drinks - you name it they have it.I asked for an Italian red wine. Again Flori served up a SUPERB red wine. They don't cheapen things or cut corners which is very refreshing to experience. Then the bill comes - lets just say Id pay double and still be happy.Highly recommend, I don't rave too often but this restaurant is very good. I'd post the pictures I took but they don't do the taste justice.Do yourself a favour!Cheers, Ken.Thank you so much Ken... pleasure to meet you and hope to see you back soon during one of your travels ti Queensland.

We stayed for one night locally so looked for a restaurant within easy walking distance of our hotel. The Casa Nostra was only 400 metres away and we were impressed with the contents of the Trip Advisor reviews from other diners. We certainly made the right choice. The service was great, the ambience spot on and the food was excellent. I had the Linguini Gamberi and my wife had a risotto. Both were generous portions, full of flavour and freshly made. The only slight gripe is the price of wine. I think the cheapest bottle was $46 and our choice came in quite a bit higher. How about a more reasonable vino della casa? All in all a very good and seemingly popular restaurant. Weâd go back.
