We had very average entrees, had better in pubs, the main course of smoked chicken was a large juicy chicken not over powered by the smoked flavour, could not eat it all, and the wine was at least triple the bottle shop price, somewhat greedy .Dear Dissillussioned,Thank you for visiting us and sharing your review. At Chapter One every detail is meticulously chosen to provide our guests with a second to none dining experience. It is therefore disappointing to hear that you considered your dining experience to be 3 star. As you can appreciate our beverage prices need to take into consideration a variety of costs, including the labour and service component that our restaurant has.

When you walk into this resort you are blown away by how stunning it is. Very grand. But the restaurant is another story. Oysters served warm on rocks not ice should have warned us. They were so off that the smell was nauseating. And the âfish of the dayâ was so old we thought it was chicken. Would never eat there again.Hi ChrishightExtremely disappointing to read we let you down... We take this feedback very seriously and our executive chef is investigating to see where we fell short. We strive to provide a high end product and would love to discuss your experience further if you would be so kind to contact me? Hope to hear from you soon.Justin Ramsden07 4084 [email protected]

This is one of our favourite eateries when we come to Port Douglas. Beautiful location beside the beach poolside. The chief has changed this year & meals are still beautifully presented, offer fresh produce with a good variety on the menu. We recommend the Duck Breast, Pork Belly and Short Ribs. Anna makes her own recipe for a sensational Margarita!

My wife and I arrived in Port Douglas yesterday from Melbourne. We made a booking online nearly one month ago for a dinner reservation at 7.30pm last night at 2 Fish.We even received an email from them yesterday morning (just before boarding our flight) asking me to confirm my reservation. Which I did.Upon arriving at the restaurant last night at 7.30pm, we see that there is a note on the door advings that the restaurant is closed until further notice. I find ut amazing that I can receive several emails from them since I had booked, but could not even have the courtesy of an email advising they will be closing.Unfortunately, being Saturday night, most places we when to after this issue where boojed out. We did finally manage to find a nice Thai restaurant which was delicious. I will write a review shortly on that one.

Savour the view along the scenic road to Port Douglas even longer by stopping for lunch, dinner or a coffee at Osprey's Restaurant at Thala Beach Nature Reserve. The idyllic eco resort captures the feel of the tropics in its relaxed, open-air Osprey's Res
We only stopped here for afternoon teas and coffee, but the service we got was amazing. Because we had elderly people with us, they transported us in a buggy to the top of the restaurant and valet parked our car. Next we were allowed to sit in the restaurant, which was actually closed, because of the steps leading to the bar area which was open. Then another ride in the buggy going down. Thank you so much, hope to come again and even stay with you, what a beautiful place in the middle of nature overlooking the ocean! Thanks for stopping by! We strive to make everyone feel welcome and share our beautiful setting. Hope to see you all again soon.
