Recommended by our Airbnb as cheap and enjoyable meals. We had tasty salmon pasta and bacon fettuccine for just $10 each. We enjoyed the live entertainment and the cosy atmosphere. Plenty of parking, fast service and warm room. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

Convenient spot in the main tourist area. If eating you can use the car park and this helped on a busy Sunday. Food was ok, service was a little slow but not unexpected given the crowds. We did not have to book. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Hi,Thanks so much for coming in on Sunday and yes, Sunday was extremely busy being the start of the holidays but glad you enjoyed you visit, and thank you for your lovely comments about our amazing staff. They really are exceptional. Thanks again,Team MTVW

Just called in one morning to have a bacon sandwich while my wife was shopping. Ambience is really nice and the staff sort of interested in you. Asked specifically for an untoasted sandwich and after fifteen minutes out came a toasted sandwich. No great dramas but I could tell the staff member wasn't really listening or engaging with me. Went back to the kitchen and the correct order came out quickly. Takeaway coffee came quickly and was really good. They could do better.

We were lured in by the chalkboard special in what can be described as a very overpriced area. The meal was nice and the service was good. But fair dinkum, take a picnic up with you to the top of the mountain. The mountain is very expensive and this place had a few chalkboard menus that brought the price down. We ordered the special off the board and got to BLT sandwiches and two cans of diet coke and that cost us $35.

We waited 45mins for our order- no communication from wait staff, pretty ordinary coffee, rude staff and owners- avoid them like the plague. If I could leave a negative number of stars I would. Very poor is a major understatement.

A lovely place to go to for a high tea. Inside or out the choice is yours. As it is quite popular best to book. Tables adorn the lawn and alcoves of a house situated in a lovely, whimsical garden. Parking at the front or if you take the next street and go around the back to parking galore. The high tea room is everything you expect....light and airy, nicely decorated with tablecloths. Friendly staff, willing to help especially when you have been forgotten in the crowd. Yes we had been sitting there for about half an hour without even a glass of water. A good reminder that we had not been served and we were off on our high tea adventure. A choice of tea or plunger coffee.... bottomless, started us.....after we got the sugar bowl refilled. Then our three tier treats arrived. Impressive, sandwiches nicely made and 3 other savouries, 3 scones each with jam and cream then an assortment of cakes and deserts, 4-5 pieces. Nice, dainty pieces that tasted as good as they looked, fresh and light. T-away containers were available luckily as we were full and nowhere near finished. In no hurry we took our time and waddled out about 3 hours later. Prices are not for the squeemish...@$45 you would expect everything you got...fine china and all.

Nice to have the option. We would definitely recommend it to friends.

As a local I called in for a quick take away brekky on the run. Service was polite and prompt and the surrounds were cheerful and conducive to a chat over a coffee. Only sour note was an untoasted bacon and egg sandwich with a ridiculously miniscule single slice of bacon on an overcooked egg and some sort of burnt bread half the size of a normal slice of bread. I would go back for a coffee and a peaceful five minutes but not to eat.sorry ur toastie sounds terrible :( we pride ourself on fresh cooked food and we use fresh local ingredients!! its a shame the person cooking can still get it wrong! we would love for u to give our toastie anothet go as they are normally well received! it is also very important to give us feedback when u get ur food as we are always happy to fix our mistakes or refund u ;)
