I visit Port Douglas most years and always drop in here for coffee. They have good breakfasts, great salads and sausage rolls and interesting things in the freezer to take away which is useful when "self" catering at one of the resorts nearby. The standout for me is the amazing flourless chocolate cake which despite coming in a generous portion always leaves you wanting more.Hi Tom,We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our flourless chocolate cake. as well as Lizzyâs breakfast salads and pastries. Not sure if you know? But we are also open Wednesday and Friday nights for dinner. We hope to see you there. From all the Otz Food Staff.Thk you for taking the time to write us a review.

Went to this place for breakfast during a weekday around 8.30am. The view was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We sat on the balcony which had a lovely light breeze blowing through looking out over a sunny morning. The service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the huevos rancheros and the zucchini fritters. They were both delicious and the coffee was good too! This is a good place to visit if youâre looking for a yummy breakfast in a peaceful cafe. Hi mannitb,Thank you for taking the time to write this review! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your breakfast at Choo Choos at the Marina. The view of the marina and Daintree mountain range is pretty special and the huevos rancheros and zucchini fritters are a fan favourite! Walked past this and on checking out the menu decided to have lunch here. What a good decision as the food was delicious.I had the smashed avocado on sourdough whilst my partner the green salad bowl. The food came quickly and mine was as it said plus Dukha and pomegranate and was delicious. The green bowl was anything but green with lots of slightly cooked veg including avocado, broccoli, rocket, quinoa, pickled radish, pickled ginger etc. It was delicious and very filling. We also had the juice of the day, an interesting mix of orange, pineapple, carrot and ginger. It was refreshing and very tasty.Service was excellent with friendly and attentive staff only happy if we were.An excellent stop for a luscious lunch.

A cosy cafe in Port Douglas, serving barista made coffee, homemade cakes, tasty breakfast & lunch and a large variety of cold and iced drinks
We had lunch at this Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby had a BLT and I went all out and had the BLAT! That addition of lettuce adds some extra crunch! We both got plenty of tasty bacon in them, and the focaccia bread was good. Both fruit juices were fresh, cold and very refreshing. The staff member who served us was very friendly.

For a long while Hi Tide Cafe, Bar, Restaurant has been a local's secret, and no wonder because this is as close to a beachfront hideaway as it gets in the middle of Port Douglas. Indeed, if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Macross
We were staying at the Peninsula Hotel for the week and fell in love with Hi Tide, breakfasts were fantastic, great coffee, Prawn and Octopus salad for lunch just amazing.Dinners just incredible, scallops, Fish ceviche two great starters. The Seafood Risotto quite possibly the best risotto I have ever had any where. When it comes to Dessert the Orange Marmalade Cheesecake is a must.Even on the nights we did not dine at Hi Tide we did partake of the delicious cocktails at the daily happy hour.A great restaurant with great food and awesome people to look after you.Thank you Hi Tide.Wow, what a great review! Thanks so much for letting us know your thoughts, we really do appreciate it.

All day breakfast/brunch menu served with additional lunch from 11.30 using the freshest of ingredients. Exciting menu tailored to suit all appetites.
Had lunch here yesterday after our flight from Melbourne to Cairns. We have been here several times in the past few years and find their no nonsense menu and friendly staff a pleasure.I just had 2 poached eggs on toast (they have all day breakfast menus) and my wife had the soft shell crab burger. The eggs on toast are just that. However, the soft shell crab salad was flavorful and had the right amount of herbs and spices.

Wow! What a delicious find for Sunday lunch! Very pleasant setting, attentive staff and a big selection of lunch options. We went with mouthwatering ceviche that came on this amazing cracker on top of smashed avo - melt in your mouth! The squid salad was packed full of flavour and seafood and was cooked to perfection! The Ruben sandwich was just like ones we tasted in New York- classic! All very well priced and accompanied by a lunch time alcoholic beverage. Made our day!
