Bikini Tree Cafe offers tasty modern food, stone fire pizzas and great coffee. The venue is set under lush green mango trees. On an open spacious deck. Enjoy our Breakfast & Lunch menu with Pizza available until closing.
Incredibly slow (even for Magnetic Island). Poor food. And rude. We just wanted three salads (all the same) and a wrap and it took 40 mins. Then they moved us because we had bought a glass of wine from the bar next door - only to have the people who took up our table bring their beers from the same place. All without a smile.

Tamarind Magnetic Island is a beautiful tea-house set among tropical gardens beneath eight huge tamarind trees. We serve a selection of teas, coffees, cakes, light lunches and cold drinks on our covered deck area. Young and old alike love to spend time in
We discovered this little Cafe by accident. Lovely food, all homemade. Both the owners were warm and friendly and happy for us to stay as long as we needed as it was pouring with rain.

The Boardwalk Restaurant & Bar has a great variety for all occasions. From Lunch on the deck over looking the marina, too fine dining at dinner.Executive Chef Rodney Smith has combined fresh ingredients and local produce in his menus that will tantalize you
Food was average, steak special a little grissly, desserts were nice. Willing to accommodate coeliac diner which was appreciated. Poor service, with staff avoiding eye contact so they didnât need to assist. If you wanted something you had to call them over. No offers to take dessert or drinks orders. After the meal a dessert cocktail was ordered, no decorations on the glass at all. Very little effort put into everything. Tried to charge us for something we didnât even order. I donât think the staff really want to be there. Poor attitude, poor service and average food.

My husband I visited the Stagedoor Theatre Restaurant last night and it certainly was a night. It started with a short ferry ride over to Magnetic Island and a bus that took us straight to the door where we were greeted by Bernadette and Kevin. After being seated at our table, we enjoyed an appetizer that hit the spot. This was followed by a main course of either chicken or pork served alternately. Both mains were to die for, but I think the pork just pipped the chicken. I heard a number of people commenting on how they enjoyed the pork, so compliments to the Chef. The music playing in the background during our meals was a great lead-in to the show, which was without a doubt, the highlight of the night. Bernadette and Kevin's performance ensured everyone had a great time. I loved how the audience joined in the singing (me included). Dessert was served in between the two acts, and just like the appetizers and mains, they didn't disappoint. The pavlova was the best pavlova I've ever eaten. It was a shame the night had to end, but as the saying goes "all good things come to an end". A very big thank you to the Stagedoor Theatre Restaurant for our tickets. We will definitely be at your next show.Thank you so much for the rave review! We love to get positive feedback and we look forward to seeing you this year!

A casual beachfront restaurant and bar specialising in local seafood, premium steaks and so much more. A selection of German specials included on our menu, inspired by the native origin of our award winning chef. Draught beer and cider on tap as well as a
Over from Melbourne - enjoying a break from the cold but also having our honeymoon.Cheesy Garlic Bread - Amazing. Chicken Kiev with garlic stuffing was lacking a garlic taste and was not âhotâ on arrival - it was warm which is disappointing considering you pay good money for a good meal. I myself had the seafood pasta which had great flavour but again, it was served âwarmâ.Be weary of the service - hit and miss, good food.Iâd happily move to a move 5 star rating if the above is fixed up =)

Visited here for breakfast and the food was not good. My fritters tasted as though they were cooked the day before and microwaved. Just so bland, heavy and doughy. other breakfast was just O.K. toast, sausage and eggs. The service was good and the friendly staff, coffee good, but for now I would say, give it a miss until something changes in the kitchen dept. also visited the toilets and they were pretty grubby. Seemed as though they had not been cleaned for quite some time.

Omg their muesli is like going on a trip to heaven. Full of fruit and nuts and just the best ever. Staff are so friendly and all the food is high-quality, at the same time looking both healthy and decadent. They win the gold medal in customer service and yummy food.

A birthday dinner with mixed opinions. The entrees, starters and sparkling wine options were excellent and all of our diners were impressed. The calamari and Chicken wontons in particular were favourites.Unfortunately the Tortellini ordered for mains from two at our table were both underwhelmed. The pasta tasted cold and undercooked, rather than al dente. There was limited sauce/flavours to compensate this for their dishes.Alternatively the dusk breast was delicious, especially the sauce and the only fault would be the portion size. The wine list is extensive, although mostly for bottle purchases, therefore only one glass of rose' was possible. This choice was regretted instantly after trying the wine. The Rose' was dark red which usually resembles a stronger body (Grenache/Sangiovese undertones), instead the 'Pink Claw' tasted young and unfinished although boasted a dry finish. We decided to skip dessert and opt for another option elsewhere. The ambience was pleasant, albeit simple decor with limited view of the river due to the window sill obscuring the vista. The service was pleasant and consistent with wait times a little longer than expected with less than half the restaurant full. The prices are excessive for the quality of food. When you pay fine dining prices there's an expectation to meet a high standard, which was only maintained across the starters and entrees. There's certainly potential for the restaurant to improve in a town where there is limited fine dining options.
