Living close by, I go there quite often for a quick yummy snack.Staff is always friendly and Sushi taste good and fresh, but recently I noticed that the store needs a good scrub everywhere.Floor is dirty, table is sticky, windows have fingerprints on it, Napkin holder is rusty and dusty....the List goes on.I still eat there because I never had an issue with food, but I wish the store would be much cleaner.

Ate here last night with friends. Was excellent: great food, a reasonably priced wine list and really friendly staff. Loved the duck and the Massaman Beef curry. You can request your own heat level. (and request extra chilli if you want it really hot). Washed it down with a couple of bottles of Bowen Estate Cab Sav. All in all a great night

Dinner for three last night. I forgot my wallet but was recognized by the restaurant manager who allowed the "locals" discount even though my colleague paid on my behalf.The weather and outlook was stunning.Service good and the food excellent. Entrees were reef fish ceviche and dumplings which we shared.I really enjoyed my Rendang Beef Cheeks which were a special and my colleagues duck curry and Korean chicken which was quite spicy.Hi Timtom57We are always happy to see a 'local' face and are pleased you enjoyed your dinning experience at Paper Crane. it has been the best dinner in Palm Cove!!we tried more than one âsmallsâ..tuna was something amazing!!calamari too!âsomething biggerâ..we tried prawns and barramundi, both great!!personnel very kind end professional.the bill was alligned with other resturants..but the quality of food and service..simply amazing!!

Arrived for an early dinner and was warmly greeted by the male wait staff( forgot his name. ) service was exceptional. Entrees from around $10 and mains around $30. Had a mixed entree, fish cake, satay stick, curry puff ect and Madang curry for main. The food was superb and delivered in good time. Great atmosphere looking over the beach. A wonderful dinner and great service. Will return for sure.

Casual dining fitting nicely with the beach environment, mostly out door seating. Standard Thai menu/range, no fuss efficient service and good value. Thai green curry and cashew nut stir fry were excellent. Also provides takeaway. Not licensed so need to BYO if desiring a drink.

Prior to our palm cove trip I had read many great reviews of this place so was keen to try.We were lucky to have some perfect weather to enjoy this beautiful location looking out to the ocean with a balmy night.Staff were very attentive and we quickly placed our order for the banana leaf fish topped with king prawns and the rendang curry. This meal was delicious, mouth watering flavour and generous serving size. The fish was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The rendang was one of the better curries I have tastes outside of Indonesia with the meat melting in your mouth!Great food, flavour, location and service

The restaurant is wonderfully decorated, located on the second floor with a balcony facing the beach. We had Sushi and Skewers options and loved both of them, very fresh with very good quality. Only downside is the very expensive Japanese beer (~14 AUD / 330ml). Well, I thought, it's a long way from Japan and at least I am paying for a good Asahi in Japanese quality, but was shocked when I saw that the beer was made in China. That mark-up is definitely too high and should be reconsidered.

We ordered take away while staying in trinity beach. The spring rolls were tasty and massaman curry was also good. We were able to order tofu, even though I didn't see it listed in the take away menu. The restaurant was super clean and people working there (which I assumed are the owners) were friendly.

This restaurant was an absolute gem. Offering all sorts of foods, from South American to Australian we had a good time choosing and eating our meals, which were absolutely delicious and fresh. Although this place is a bit off the path, in a residential Clifton Beach area, itâs great and can only recommend.
