This was truly the worst dining experience the three of us have ever had. We began with soup that was tepid, seasoned only with soya sauce and old fridge-tasting beef. Next we had the imperial rolls, which were dripping in grease, very overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. We could not eat them. Our meals, two orders of Pad Thai and the shrimp and chicken brochette, were terrible. The Pad Thai was not made with Pad Thai sauce, but instead tasted like pan fried/burnt soya sauce, with white tasteless semi-raw shrimp and stale tasting reheated chicken scraps. One of us asked if the Pad Thai could be served with no chicken, and despite being told "yes", it was clear that the chef had simply picked out the pieces of chicken from that plate, since we found many small pieces of chicken buried in the noodles. The brochettes looked good, but the chicken had a disgusting consistency and neither the chicken nor the shrimp had any flavour, and included a sticky blob of inedible rice and salad with no taste. We barely ate any of the food because it was so disgusting, but there was no point in complaining to the server as she was not in the least bit interested in hearing why we did not eat the food or why we did not want it wrapped up to go. Besides not having any supper, our social evening was ruined because we could not focus on anything other than the shockingly bad dining experience. Do not eat in this restaurant!

Having read some of the few reviews available, this place looked promising. What a mistake. Although the manager (owner ?) was pleasant, the sashimi plate we ordered was probably the least interesting and the lowest quality sashimi we ever had on our travels. The description was 14-15 different types of sashimi. On a large white plate we found two thin, tiny pieces of red tuna - three tiny, thin pieces of salmon - two cooked dry prawns - a spoonful of fish eggs and a spoonful of what we guessed was crab meat - a few thin slices of rather dry smoked salmon - and crab-sticks! The few pieces of fish were so small that we hardly had a chance to taste it. We complained to the manager, but his opinion was that people love this dish. So, quite contrary to our opinion. If you are keen on sashimi, we suggest this restaurant is not a good choice. Other food at Le Sake is hopefully better. As a starter, we wanted two miso soup, but the manager suggested his won ton soup, so we agreed to try one miso soup and one won ton. But we got no miso soup, but two won ton soup instead. We had two plates of the sashimi, two small soups and tap water, and the bill was higher than our restaurant bill the next day at a very good restaurant where we had filet mignon with tasty french fries and extra vegetables, one glass of wine and a beer.

We try to visit a different Asian BYOB restaurant every time we visit Granby. This is my favorite. The food is very well prepared and tasty, the ambiance is comfortable, and the service exceptional. It's in an odd location, on a quiet side street close to Granby's strip malls. The only drawback might be the lack of outside tables.

Good selection of other dishes for those not wanting sushi. I usually have the seafood stir fry....always good. My wife loves the 'bloody' sushi.... as must for the sushi lover. Service was great as usual. A bit more pricier than other places but well worth it.

Small place with very friendly small staff. We have been here twice, and in both occasions there has not been many guests. Which is too bad, as the place is well worth visiting for the excellent sushi they make. Closed on Mondays, perhaps also on Sundays (not sure).

I've been looking for an all you can eat sushi in Quebec without going to Montreal and hadn't had much luck until someone told me about this place. There were no disappointment there. The sushi is super fresh and the variety is just awesome. We will definitely keep this one on the going back list.

The service may be a little slow (1 hour before we had our first bite... it was saturday night, the restaurant was full), but the wait is realy worth it! They make and serve the best sushi. Try any special, they are all so tasty! We enjoyed the meal for 3 plus one order of the Geisha. Too good!!! Even the classic "tiger eye" was better then any other I had before. We had enough for 4 persons. It was not our first time there and we'll go back again! Don't forget your wine!!!

An odd emplacement for a restaurant or any business, for it is just in a curve of the on going traffic. The Inside is decorated with the usually oriental way with Buddha to greet you. The personal was very polite and courteous at our arrival. The place is runned by a man who was one of the first boat people coming fron Vietnam. The place is family runned with his wife and son as part of the staff. As for the food and the sushi which is their speciality of the house was simply devine and mouth watering in each bite. For everything is made in front of you, freshly prepared for your dining pleasure. Everything seemed very clean, even the bathrooms. Another thing I forgot to mention, you can bring your own wine. All and all we had a very enjoyable evening and the price range is very afforable.I would return again. Signing-out Bond 000

Unpretentious but nice small family owned Thai restaurant. Asian food, mainly Stri-fry and Soups. Tasty, authentic, fresh. We recommand to call in to book in advance to make sure there is still some tables available. You can also call in for a to-go order
we went here for dinner a few nights ago and was very pleased. It is tucked away on a nondescript residential street, and from the outside it looks like nothing special. My wife was reluctant to go in. However, this small simple restaurant was clean and inviting inside. The staff was friendly, and the food was very good indeed. A nice and somewhat unique selection of Viet and Thai dishes. Being BYOB was another plus.
