Finally tried this place for dinner after walking by numerous times. It was well worth the visit. It is a comfortable but tight setting inside. Menu offers a good amount of selection. Service was exceptionaly attentive and friendly. Food reasonably priced. And generous portions and great quality. Highly recommend it.

Good, retro diner setting and massive portions that we all enjoyed but couldnât finish. We went on a Tuesday so there were half-price bottles of wine. The beer was also good. I had the âdiscoâ poutine as a starter, which was massive and I wouldnât recommend as a starter. Maybe as a side, but everything else comes with huge portions of fries so maybe not. I followed this up with the hanger steak (with fries instead of the loaded mash on the menu - probably a mistake given the huge amount of fries in the starter). Steak was great, if not a little over cooked. Of the other dishes ordered around the table, onion rings and lettuce tacos, filet steak, shroom burger, short-rib and mac n cheese, there was a lot of food and not all of it got eaten, which is a shame really. Anyway, if burgers, ribs etc are your thing then this is the place for you. Thank you blokeinthekitchen! We're so glad you enjoyed your recent meal with us, and really explored our extensive menu! We encourage our guests to take home any leftovers if they would like- always makes for a great late night snack. Hope to have you back again soon!

Reubenâs, as the name may indicate, specializes in smoked meat. They use only top quality produce. They have other great stuff as well, like great salads, pasta, a particularly good onion soup to name just a few. The strawberry cheesecake deserves a special mention. It is to die for! The interior is very inviting. The service is excellent. The restaurant was full, but the orders were served expediently. We were impressed.

We had dinner at this establishment and were pretty happy overall. They seemed a bit overwhelmed with customers on the patio, but other than that, I have no complaints.We shared a few dishes, and my daughter had a raspberry mojito. Her drink was great. We ordered the Dead Serious Nachos, Classic Poutine, and a Caesar salad. No complaints. The serving sizes are large. Their poutine is wonderful. Only problem with the nachos is that they got very soggy relatively quickly.The patio itself was very crowded, and there was barely elbow room, but that would be my only issue.Hi , thanks for the great comments. My wife and I ate here three days in a row. It was a great memory from a prior to trip to Montreal and it didn't disappoint. Even better than we remembered. Breakfast prices were quite reasonable. The challenge was figuring out for me which combo to get. My wife had no such issues because she goes straight for the simplest of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. We were both very pleased with the service, coffee, and food. When I said I needed an accessible restroom, I was told where the "secret" restroom was located. When I asked for accomodations as a vegetarian, again, replacements were offered.Thank you NoPegasus, we're pleased you and your wife enjoyed your meal with us! We're always more than happy to accommodate to our guests' dietary needs where possible. We hope to have you both back to dine with us again soon!

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, and since hubby loves steak, figured weâd give it a try! We had one of the specials, steak with porcini mushrooms. I had steak Oscar with shrimp and scallops. Everything was wonderful, including the service. With a reservation, they greet you with a glass of sparkling wine, so lovely! Also, you must try the house special dessert , mocha ice cream pie!

Like other restaurants in Montreal, Burger Bar is on the moderate/more expensive side. Consequently, we only ordered two burgers...splurging on their bison burger and going for the more moderately prices bbq pulled pork sandwich. both were very good, but the bison burger was the best.would definitely go there again when back in Montreal.Our bison burgers are special because the meat is very lean and flavorful. We suggest ordering the bison meat medium to medium rare which really brings out its flavor. Our pulled pork is the best in the city and made from scratch cooked in our homemade sauce which includes real Jack Danial's Tennessee whiskey. So good.
