Beautiful restaurant housed in an historic building - gorgeous and impressive⦠We ordered the tapas plate that included sardines, shrimps, calamari and chorizo⦠it was excellent! You must dip your bread in this aromatic oil⦠oh so good! We both had fish - the salmon was a little disappointing - the cod was a lot better and their fries are fantastic! It would be a shame if you donât have their traditional pastel de Nata - warm and crispy - Superb! The service was attentive and friendly which made our evening memorable.Thank you so much for the great review! We are so happy you enjoyed our cuisine and service and the beautiful historic building we are in. We look forward to serving you again. Cheers!

We were a group of 21 people, a restaurant's challenge. L'Auberge Saint-Gabriel met the challenge with elegance, graciousness, speed and delicious cuisine. They suggested that we choose from a prix-fixe menu, but were happy to substitute anything off their regular menu. I had halibut tartar, Cornish game hen from the fire spit and skipped the incredible desserts. The halibut was the most wonderful mixture of fish and tropical fruit, memorable. The Cornish game hen, were tasty, but I think they were on the large size. Others in our group enjoyed the cauliflower, also cooked on the spit. That looked marvelous, served in a sauce with garbanzo beans. It's a beautiful restaurant...I would go back for sure.

After arriving in Montreal we checked into the Hotel Alt and wandered outside to find dinner. Three restaurants are right there and we picked Zibo. Had a couple of cocktails, pretty decent Mojito. I had the tuna and my wife had the sea bass. Tuna was perfectly cooked, that is to say just barely. Decent portions and beautiful presentation. Sea bass was excellent as well. Seemed kinda pricey, but as we soon found out, thatâs the norm in this area. Service was very good, bilingual waiter was friendly and attentive. Would return except there are so many alternatives within a few blocks we never did.Hello ,Thank you for your feedback.Hoping to see you soon in a restaurant,The ZIBO team!

Fabulous in every respect! Excellent service and exceptional fare. Expensive, but this one is worth it for a special occasion or a personal treat. The building is historic from the 1600's and is a unique dining experience. A must dining experience when in Montreal.

We had our breakfast here on our last day in Old Montreal and were staying at the William Gray which its connected to. The service was good, had a busy crowd outside on the terrace. Hot tea, coffee, we had eggs benedict and an omelette, all cooked good and came with fruit, hash brown potatoes like tater tots, nice and crispy potatoes and toast and jam. Overall good food service. I'd go back.

Enjoyed a business lunch this past week at Cru. Oysters are heavily featured. I opted for the salmon tartare that was very enjoyable. The restaurant is a little pricey but the food is high quality. Service was friendly but not over the top.
