This was my third time at The Keg in the West Island. It is located in the Fairview Shopping Mall. It is difficult to find a parking near the restaurant however there is plenty of parking. The waiter was really nice; helpful, professional, knowledgeable and everything you expect when being served by a waiter. We started with Tuna Tartar which was lovely. We had two different salads; Caesar & Green salad. For the main dish we had King Crab with Grilled Shrimp, the Steak with the Loaded Potato and the Cajun Shrimp. The food is always good at any Keg Restaurant I have been too. We actually had a mini dessert; the brownie chocolate ice cream which was also very nice. We reserved online on Open Table because when we called the restaurant they said they had no tables available. It is difficult to get a table at The Keg on a Friday or Saturday night however I was lucky to find a table on Open Table. It is a trendy restaurant with a relaxed environment.

We went for a quiet goodbye lunch with the family. First clients there for lunch - 5 of us. My husband was joining after. Not long after a group of people came in - were seated right beside us (restaurant still empty otherwise). They were EXTREMELY loud. We were unable to hear each other. Asked to move to another table - told no.They got louder. We complained and asked again to move - met with an oh well, shrug and too bad (waiter). Topped it off with the waiter spilling food - KNEW that he had down my son in laws back and said nothing. We had to leave early to bring them to get a new shirt. Last bit of time we had before my daughter left for home ruined. As we left, we told and showed the host. He apologized - saying we should have said something but seriously. They will be getting the bill for the shirt (lucky heâs not into designer clothes)...

Came here with family over the weekend. We had 7pm reservations and we had a time constraint and unfortunately we had to wait 35 minutes for a table..even WITH a reservation. This put a damper on the evening as we were worried not to get out of there on time. They seemed to have overbooked and the line up was huge. It was a turn off. Front desk wasnât very pleasant either as we went to see her numerous times to see what the wait was. We were finally seated and we got good service. Food was very quick. The crab cakes werenât great, tasted a bit frozen. The ribs were delicious as always. The santé fe chicken was over cooked. Chocolate mousse for dessert was delicious. Overall just disappointed about the wait time. Not sure if we will be back anytime soon.

Vous allez dans le West Island? Rendez-vous pour un bon repas au steakhouse et bar Bâton Rouge Dollard-des-Ormeaux qui offre des steaks, du homard et une belle carte de vins.
Had a weekend reservations. Say in the bar area. The wait staff was excellent. The food was good overall. I was a little disappointed with the ribs, a bit on the tough side.
